You don't even need this mod if you take some time in xedit, just download any mod like Oakley M-frame Sunglasses and use their attachment on whatever uses the eye slot, add some keywords and it will give you this functionality on mostly any you add in. You need 1 mod as a master and then just use those assets on all of your game eyewear by using xedit. It took maybe an hour to add this to all my eyewear/helmets with eye covering parts.
Oakleys mod has two important keywords like OMF_MA [KYWD:29000804] for the mod addon and then OMF_Mod_Software "Software Upgrades" [KYWD:29000863] for the attachpoint. In exchange you get targeting HUD, Recon sensors and VATS Matrix Relay on all of the ones you edit.
If its ant consulation to the author or anyone else: I was able to get it to properly identify friend, foe and nuetral properly Hostile shows up properly as red(no more raiders showing up friendly) Friendly and nuetral are blue Still working on corpse recognition
The author left out a few items that are easily missed that identifies friend or foe(easy miss) Corpse recognition is a custom made spell(i should have it fixed shortly) Author did a great job and i would be glad to share my improvements with him and he can update this great mod.

Ps: I also fixed the night vision from the blurry effect to look like a night vision scope.
Oh I hope you get to upload that viper! In a perfect world (for me) I would have this functionality on fadingsignal's West Tek Tactical Options. His models are outstanding, but the night vision is too bright for me, sadly, and I really need it with True Storms/True Nights; the thermal is all living red (don't wanna shoot my puppy!), and the targeting HUD is the same, I prefer different colors for friendly/foe, although he does color the corpses which is nice. Hell I was going to just use fadingsignal's as eyewear (no HUD choices) then this on top, but unfortunately West Tek isn't "eyewear" where I could use this along with HUD eyewear. LOL what a conundrum.
I recommend using the scouter by rudy88 this mod is causing quests to break I found that out the hard way when clark was instantly hostile inbrotherhood duty or dishonor, then it broke the quests for my mod "vault girls laura and jasmine british beautys with quest" not knocking this mod but if the author doesn't fix it or let someone else its a dead mod so I started using the scouter, replaced the female meshes for it with the black rim glasses meshes and never had an issue I used to love this mod but I do suggest one thing if you continue to use it, remove the texture files from textures/effects because they interrupt the games default ai shader causing game ai ripples that are causing the quest breaks cheers and I hope the author fixes this
I dont think theres any updates if we cant get replys lol. I downloaded this as an alternative to fighting with armorsmith extended just for the eyeglasses mod. Its agreat single mod he made but i may have to just fix it myself with fo4 edit. I hope ghe author continues this mod as it is a great alternative to armorsmith extended. I like gambit77 work but it caused lots of bugs in my game so i looked for an alternative lol. Cheers and happy thanksgiving
Love your mod I only have one suggestion, add a script that turns the hud on only when weapon is drawn. I cant get that other mod youvmention to work with yours for some odd reason. I love the experimental Night vision is nothing but a blur so if you could work on that it would be great. I tried using armorsmith extended just for the eyeglasses mod but it caused more glitches than it was worth just for the eyeglasses mod. I will track your mod for now and see where you go from here
Start the game without Survival mode, get all your console command stuff out of the way, then turn on Survival Mode. You can only do it once, but it lets you use the console at least at the beginning.
Actually, some mods enables the console in survival. I´m using SMC, but is no more in nexus. Others are http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/12556/? and https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/12794/?. There´s a third mod, but that isn´t a console enabler, is a survival rule changer. i don´t remember the name, sorry. Maybe some know it. Sorry for the late aswer, but is a common problem to anyone, so i think the information still be useful for someone.
The perfect "one-stop-shop" in post-apocalyptic eyewear! Sometimes it detects raiders as blue but aim-down-sights/scoping them will reveal the red diamond of death so it's all good! Endorsed! Thank you for the mod!!!1!1!
