no your load order is crashing your game. This mod doesn't play well with skin texture mods, hair mods, or tattoo mods, but this otherwise always runs fantastically.
so to whomever is coming back to this and not seeing all the options in looksmenu, and has the brain of a toaster like myself and cant seem to understand why the options you used to have are no longer present-
vortex - plugins - double click LMCC - group - dynamic patches - click sort now at the top.
probably obvious to the script magicians here but hopefully that can give the other simpletons like me the fix for this.
thanks man, its the obvious first option if a mod doesnt work correctly to place it at the top or bottom of the load order and see what happens. but when I need it I often don't remember this
Ahhh self-deprecation my favorite form of flattery!
This is a workaround so if it doesn't go where you want you may have to test out different Groups.
For now Vortex doesn't allow just putting a mod where you know it should go.
Edit: You may want to change the grouping of it's dependencies as well such as LMCC Fix or you could even try the newish 2k LMCC. Although you may have to use this same method to get the load order right. HF!
I'm using mods that overhaul npcs, but female npcs that use eyebrows from LMCC spawn with the "Thin rounded" eyebrows. If anyone has encountered this bug and has a solution, I'd be really grateful
I had the same issue. It is related to your Load order. If you are using vortex or Loot just put the looksmenu plugin in this group: dynamic patches. Then sort the plugins. It should fix your issue.
I fixed this issue, among other female look bugs. This happens because the default brow option for the game is "Thin rounded". So, if no brow is defined in a npc replacer or looks preset, then they will have "Thin rounded" my fix changes the default to "average". So it won't be as jarring if no brow is set.
Hello, im coming back to play FO4 again and started downloading mods that i used to play with back in 2019 (ah before covid good days), one of them is Josie character preset. so i download it and its req but the character face is now brown, i dont remember having this problem back then so i checked. i know it got something to do with the HD retexture and i thought the patch in fix it? or do i get the load order wrong somehow? i load this mod before the HD retexture ( i cant remember how i do it back then) and then the patch, i use vortex btw. oh and i dont remember having to download that patch back in 2019 because i dont have the "you download this file in this date, month and year" thing in the file section. any help is appreciated bcs i am going bald bcs of this lol
nvm im dumb, reading things slowly really hit my stupid head to realization lol
I'm using Real HD Face textures and Hipoly faces and none of the extras offered in this mod are showing up, I downloaded the 2K LCC and installed it along with the regular LCC but none of these extras show on my character. I'm using 2k skin textures and I know that the reason the extras won't show up is because they aren't compatible but shouldn't downloading the 2K LCC fix that?
Am I Supposed to have both regular and 2K LCC installed and enabled with 2k loading before the regular LCC or do I only need the 2K because I've only installed the 2k as a test and there were no extra options anymore so I assumed the Main LCC file is the base and you have to override it with the 2K but that didn't fix anything. Also the LCC plugin is at the bottom of my load order, I was told that it would fix the issue but it didn't.
looks menu requierment it's really a reuirement? so i install compodium without original looks menu and that work nice... so why add original looks menu in requirement watever it's not
Wait, this works w/o Looks? Will it work with MCM sans Looks also? This would be great, I've been having some issue with getting Looks to run w/o more than the occasional problem. Also, know why it says "off site" requirement for looks?
