The Makarov is a Russian copy. They don't ask permission. The just captured a bunch of ppks from the Germans and made a Russian version they liked better. Just like they improved the MP 42 to get the AK 47.
Completely and utterly incorrect. Even the quickest of Google searches would reveal this is untrue. The Makarov PM pistol is not a copy of the Walther PP. The PP has different internals and, although both are straight-blowback, they use different methods of extraction. Do not talk out of your ass.

Also, "AK-47" is a fake term. The AK was only ever referred to by the Soviet military as the "AK." Nothing more. The AKM was the improved model, and the AK-74 the 5.45mm iteration from the 70s. The "AK-47" as you call it does not exist, nor has it ever.
Would you have any interest in creating different colored variants? My PPK (real-life) has a blued finish with a black grip, like what has been seen in some 007 films.

If you replace the grip with the Sharpshooter's Grip, you will lose the retextured grip and end up with the old flat one.
