The new version of "RetroDaddy's Ultimate Kit" is the latest. Do not upgrade using this file as you will lose all previous items this mod has given you.

YOU MUST START A NEW GAME to use this version.

I'm confused on what this mod actually does, the description is a mess and doesn't really say. Does this ad recipes for new weapons and adds new areas to build settlements? That's my best guess

This mod basically adds a number of chests around the wasteland that you can replenish your supplies.  You will find some recipes for crafting various items and medicines. this mod has some chest at the various buildable settlements that contain bits and pieces to HELP you in adding to your plot of land.

After re-reading the mod description, yes, it is a bit rough, however it does give enough information that if you read it and not just scan over it you'll be able to understand what is going on.

I have played and modded Fallout and Skyrim for years and i would like to say i have enjoyed using your mods as well as any that i have tried. but with this one i believe you have missed one buildable site, at least after a hour long search i can't find any caches and that is Murkwater construction. You see i have become spoiled to having my stuff already at the place and sometimes having to hunt for it which is fun in a way. So if its there and i just have not found it please forgive and if possible give a hint. Thanks for the good work .

I will look into this location, "Murkwater construction", and get back with you very soon. Thank you for using my mods and It helps me to know that they are being enjoyed.
I should have an answer for you tomorrow.

The name "Murkwater Construction" did not sound familiar, and after going through the mod, confirmed there is no location in this mod by that name. Is it possible you have confused this mod with another.
If you find any more information for me, please let me know.

"Murkwater Construction Site" is a standard, vanilla settlement site in the south-most, central part of the FO4 Commonwealth.
It does NOT have any RetroDaddy caches. It was obviously overlooked by the ModAuthor.

Hello. I am currently using the ps4 version of your mod, and I ran into a minor issue that I could not find the answer to (after double-checking the ps4 mod page info and then here on nexus mods): I cannot repair the t-60 power armor that you put in.  It only says "You lack the components (or materials) to repair this item" and yet I have ALL the crafting materials in my workshop.

So my question is this: What do I need to repair your power armor?

I will look into that and see what is going on.  I'll get back to you in a day or so.

In my experience, you cannot repair ANY of the P.A. supplied by this mod. I do not know if this was intentional or not.
I am using the PC version of this mod.

Howdy mr Retro, Sir... I am having an issue and I do NOT think it has anything to do with your mod but at the very beginning of my games (the most recent two or three) I have been using the Retro power armor and I am experiencing ‘death’ by no reason at all. My character just suddenly drops dead.
There is one other mod that might be at fault but I thought I would check in with you.
The other mods author has removed the mod with no comment added so I do not know if the reason might be the issue I am having.
Anyway enjoying your mod as always!

If I remember correctly, that is something that can happen with ANY set of PA. I'd have to do a search for that issue, it was supposed to be fixed by Bethesda a long time ago. It could be inadvertently brought by back another mod, but I'm not sure.

You can check out this: https://steamcommunity.com/app/377160/discussions/0/154641879458023594/

This same bug has made it into Fallout 76, but was quickly fixed. So, unfortunately, I don't have a good fix to this. All I can suggest is to find another PA set and see if it still happens. You can also try a clean save: delete/uninstall any mod you think may be affecting you. close the game, re-open the game and run it for a few minutes, don't use any power armor, make a new save. reload the game from cold and re-install one of the mods (only 1) run the game and test the PA. then repeat with each mod. You may be able to track it down this way.

Make sure to Verify your game through Steam before doing any of the above steps.

P.S. Is this the new Survival mod and if so, how is it working for you?

I'm spending a lot of time on Discord. I started a new game and the 'PA Armor Death' just stopped. I know the mod you are referring to and you may be right as I did not load that mod back in.

Happy to hear your issue has been resolved. You mentioned you did not load a certain mod back in, which mod was that? 'PA Armor Death'?

    Hey Retro …
As I crossed the 4K hours in FO4 (almost to 5!) I find that the enemies see me too well in white underarmor. Need some black, sneaky underarmor!

;-) I'll look into trying that. I don't normally change vanilla items due to compatibility with certain consoles. Having said that, this may be one I can do.

Thanks for the response. . . to me (not being an expert), It is just a matter of adding a black colored under-armor . I also like to play with a 'covert' head covering (aka special ops) , ... but I can't pass up the high helmet armor rating on the Combat Helmet.
[While I am on the subject, in SKYRIM SE, one additional armor set for those who are 'sneaky' or want to play the part of an 'assassin' type of character, you might consider including an extra Romulan crew member with armor from the 'Nightingales'. He could be a 'Tal Shiar' agent. I do like the custom robes too though, and I give the Vulcan armor and weapons to Vilja.]

Thank YOU! You are very kind to have done that...

I have something else <!> you might consider... as you know I thoroughly enjoy your mods, FO4 and SSE, however, I find that in both there may be TOO MUCH stuff. I realize that the whole point of the mod is to give the player all that he/she may need to survive. In FO4, I would like to see one option in the files download for the chests to contain only weapons, ammo, and armor … maybe even the stealthboys. Those items are fine as they are. I would just not like to be inundated with farm food, medicines, etc.etc. It is really a pain to have to sort out all that stuff.
I guess you could say, "well, ah … just don't TAKE that stuff out of the chests". Then you are obviously NOT OCD!
Anyway, not a game-breaker at all, just a thought.

I'll work on a "Survival" version for you, it may take a week or two. You make a good point, the desire to take everything can be a hindrance. Thank you for your interest in my work and your suggestions.

    Hello !
I am using this mod with 'Immersive Gameplay' and 'War of the Commonwealth' and it definitely 'levels out' the experiences!

I am wondering how I can make a patch to include the items in 'AWKCR' ? I am using 'Linked Cloud Storage Containers added to Settlement Workshop" and the items end up in 'junk' category because the items are not in 'AWKCR'.

Thank you for this great mod! Would not play without it (well, I truly would not survive two minutes without it)

I am actually working on a patch for AWKCR, but for me it's a learning process. I will post the patch once I can make sure it does not harm AWKCR.

how do you open the supply boxes in the settlements,it tells you to look for a key but I have spent to many hours trying to find a key that I am on the verge of giving up,any help would be welcome

Can you give me a screen shot of the chest(s) you are talking about? None of my chests should require a key. Some are level locked but only require a lockpick. The chest that belong to the settlers can be opened by them once you have become a member of the Minutemen.

    Hello,
What changes did you make to 'Skinrippers Ultimate Kit for FO4' v 3.1.1 and 'RetroDaddy's Ultimate Kit for F04' v3.1.8 ?

I.e. ... are there changes to spawn intervals or chest contents, etc.

    Thanks!

The mod's author has not changed, just a new user name. The changes were; 1. quantity of some items were reduced. 2. one item of a lower quality was better than an item of higher quality.

Found a little oddity between this mod and another...

The Main Menu Red Rocket Garage (Truck-stop Addition) by shaggy08251993 seems to be *slightly* at odds with this mod...

With this mod the bushes and trees poke through the floor and walls of the added Red Rocket Garage, without this mod the bushes and trees are gone from the location of the added Red Rocke Garage...

Any way to fix this without me removing either mod?

All I can say for sure is that my mod does not add or remove any landscape items. I simply added a storage box at the cave, a chest on the roof, an ammo box and a mailbox.

It is probably a load order issue, move his mod below mine.

Sorry if this is a dumb question but this adds 125 NEW locations to the game? Or does it make existing locations new based on changes?

If you read the description, this mod does not add any locations. It is a mod of hidden stashes throughout the game.

      ShadowGearX: Exactly.

cfrrulez: Not a dumb questions, I added multiple containers to the base game world, Some are obvious and easy to find, some are difficult to locate and will be found by accident. Some of them have leveled locks and some are not locked.

It's all part of the adventure.
