-
Version 3.41
- - corrected a mistake on 2 wetness material files for the Prydwen I had added in the previous version (the air ship is a bit less shiney in rainy conditions now as I intended it)
- - added the missing specular map to the Cat Bowl
-
Version 3.6.2
- - Fixed APCs that had an improper wetness shader applied
- - Reduced the glossiness of motorcycles
- - Changed a value on rubber materails so the relfections looks a bit more clearer and sharper
- - I forgot to pack 4 files in the 3.6.1 archive and included them now
-
Version 3.6.1
- Fixed the wetness shader of 12 Creation Club armor paint jobs
-
Version 3.6
- Reverted a change from the last version regarding beards and hairs which messed up eye reflections; the reflections have a much sharper look now
- The same material is used for a huge amount of assets so this will improve the wet look of many random things which all use the same base shader and looked to dry even vanilla
-
Version 3.5
- Reduced glossiness a bit on hairsytles and beards
- Made a new material template to reduce glossiness on a bunch of generic machines (MachineKitQuad01 - 04)
- Updated the version number of the esp file from 0.95 to 1.0
-
Version 3.4
- - fixed the blank green layer in the specular maps for the following plants: Blood Leaf, Silt Bean, Dead Flower 1 & 2, Dead Shrub, Hedge Row Glowing Sea, Institute Flower, Marshberry, Marsh Cattails, Prewar Flower, Seaweed, Tarberry, Tato 1 & 2, Wild Tato Vine, Wild Tato
- - fixed a bug (visual artifact) in the specular map of the Marsh Cattails
- - fixed the excessive shininess on the Street Cleaning Machine (see pic #20)
- - fixed 53 materials for the Prydwen (those materials had no wetness assigned to them so the Prydwen would stay dry in rainy weather conditions) (see pics #22 and #23)
- - fixed the blank green layer in the specular map for manholes and corrected the link to its template wetness material (see pic #21)
-
Version 3.3
- fixed yellow paint can and empty paint can specular maps (see pic #19)
- fixed the specular map of the colonial lamp post (see pic #18)
- fixed the specular map of all mutated ferns (FernFlower.nif, Fern01.nif, Fern02.nif, TreeFern01.nif, TreeFern02.nif) (see pic #15)
- reduced shine on wooden surfaces to a more realistic level (see pics #16 and #17)
- toned down the wetness effect on human skin and smooth metal a little bit
-
Version 3.2
- Fixed 2 red brick surfaces which are used at Diamond City's main gate (see pic #14 in the screenshots tab)
-
Version 3.1
- Fixed the Minuteman statue in Bunker Hill (see pic #13 in the screenshots tab)
-
Version 3.0
- Removed the installer. The mod is now packed in BA2 archives. Contains an empty dummy esp (which is flagged as esl to save space in your load order) that loads the archives.
- Fine-tunded almost all template material files to get a consistent look on all objects while it's raining
- Some objects like concrete and wood looks now a bit darker in the wet to achieve a more realistic look
-
Version 2.3
- Fixed some materials which are used on concrete roofs in Concord
- A material file for a specific wooden floor (BldWoodFloor01.BGSM) was missing a link to a wetness template
-
Version 2.2
- Fixed a texture used for the Boston Public Library and Bunker Hill
- Slightly reduced the glossiness of metal barrels
-
Version 2.1
- Fixed bug: Wetness shader darkening certain asphalt textures
https://bethesda.net/community/topic/57780/bug-wetness-shader-darkening-certain-asphalt-textures
- Fixed bug: Wetness shader darkening certain asphalt textures
-
Version 2.0
- Please uninstall any previous version before install this new one.
- Added an installer were you can choose between 3 wetness levels and 2 texture resolutions.
- More textures with fixed green color channel were added. As a result, some edited material files aren't needed any more.
-
Version 1.5
- I added fixed specular maps for the marble blocks at Quincy Quarries.
- I removed the 11 files used for generic wooden objects (indroduced in version 1.3) because they wasn't broken but the textures they link to.
-
Version 1.4
- Fixed the holes in asphalt roads. I had to include an edited specular map to get the fix working. Sorry for the inconvenience.
- Adjustment of a file for generic stone walls in which I had the wet effect set to high. This was a mistake of my own.
-
Version 1.3
- Fixed some static puddles in Diamond City
- Adjusted 11 files used for generic wooden objects to reduce the overdone chrome effect
-
Version 1.2
- Reduced the glaring shine on the metal shacks in Diamond City
- Raised the wet effect in the default wet material to blend it better into the environment.
-
Version 1.1
- Fixed a set of stone walls that are located around Fort Hagen
-
Version 1
- Initial release
I modified all material files that are used when it's raining outside.
In most cases, I toned down the effect more or less and in a few files I fixed weird values that I would consider as a typo/bug.
I included a modified specular map for the cooking station. That was necessary to keep the wet effect on the metal but not and the roasted meat.
