  • Waterpump for filling up empty bottles.
  • Trash-hole for visually dumping stuff.
  • Secured with a key (see "location/keys" section below).
  • External safe, just in case you want to leave something behind before going on an adventure but already have exited the bunker.
  • Fast-travel directly into the bunker once discovered.
  • No settlers will move in.
  • No random attacks will occur.
  • Navmesh'd for your companions.
  • Friendly robotic neighbors (Graygarden).

MOTIVATION
I just wanted to have a bunker-home without the settlement/workshop management part. There might be similiar mods out there (didn't really search), but I love to create/learn things, so I did it myself. Feel free to hit that "endorse" button if you enjoy the bunker.

~

REQUIREMENTS
None except the base game Fallout 4.

~

LOCATION/KEYS
The bunker is located on top of the rocks behind Graygarden Homestead and is visible on the Pip-Boy map from the start up. But you must discover it first in order to be able to fast-travel into it. DO NOT fast-travel into it if you don't have the key yet or you won't be able to exit.

You probably only need to read these spoilers if you don't start a new game:
Loner's Bunker Key:
Spoiler:
Show
On the street just after the bridge when you exit Sanctuary. Yes, the guy lying right next to the key... that's his newly built bunker, well was, now it's yours!

Loner's Safe Key:
Spoiler:
Show
On the workbench inside the bunker.

INSTALL/UNINSTALL/UPDATE
To install...
Automatic: Use the Nexus Mod Manager. I didn't test with other mod managers.
Manual: Unpack LonersBunker.7z and place LonersBunker.esp into Fallout 4's "Data" folder.

To uninstall...
  • Remove all the stuff you want to keep from the bunker.
  • Exit the bunker.
  • Safe the game.
  • Exit the game.
  • Uninstall with the Nexus Mod Manager or manually delete the LonersBunker.esp file from Fallout 4's "Data" folder.

To update... (everything you've built and stored inside the bunker will remain intact unless noted otherwise in an update)
  • Go to another place in the world, Diamond City for example.
  • Safe the game.
  • Exit the game.
  • Overwrite the old LonersBunker.esp with the new one.
  • Start the game, go to bunker, enjoy.

NOTES
  • Feel free to add images and videos of your furnished bunker! I'm very curious to see what others come up with.
  • Info for modders and the curious: I prefixed all custom objects with "Lobu" (for the filter in CreationKit's object window).
  • Yep, english isn't my native language. Feel free to correct me.

CHANGES
2017-04-24 - v1.1: Minor bug fixes and changes, most not visible to the player.
  • Slightly moved the door- and fast-travel exit under the trap door so the player stands where he would leave the ladder.
  • Changed the acoustics of the bunker so rain outside shouldn't be audible anymore. These are very thick walls afterall.
  • Deleted unused custom objects.
  • Rotated the heading of the door exit so that the player is viewing in the direction of the safe when he exists.
  • Made the waterpump un-movable/scrapable as intentend.
  • Centered the small drain on the floor in the biggest room.

2017-04-17 - v1.0: uploaded updated readme text file as an optional file.
2017-04-12 - v1.0: initial release.
