    NOTE: Just to clarify, this mod uses scripted reload from here: http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/22896/?. It's new and the most stable bullet counted reload method out there and has almost no bugs.

    Played with this mod quite a while, but I had a strong feeling that this rifle is pretty inaccurate with iron sights, as I was missing the clear shots often.
    Bullet decal spread on a white wall from a medium distance seem to support this - accuracy is far worse than vanilla hunting rifle, even when Mosin is fully upgraded. Bullets almost never hit the aiming spot and decals seem to pile up on the up-right from the crosshair spot.
    I haven't tested it with scopes, as I personally have a thing for iron-sights.
    I tried the other rifle mod SVT-40 and have no such issues. Really love the awesome texture/modeling work on the Nagant otherwise.

    Gotta say, I love this weapon. I know this post isn't useful in any way, but it's a lot of fun using the rifle I practice with to survive the wasteland. It feels just as powerful as the real thing, though it doesn't jam or overheat nearly as much.

    I really hate when someone makes a weapon mod with no instructions on how to spawn it. Makes me never support it. And yes the mod is perfectly installed.

      Add it to description. Common Sense.Sometimes help "name of weapon" 4 does not work with some mods.

    Great looking. Love the scripted reload.

    My only qualm is that it is ridiculously OP. A base damage of 90 puts it right behind the gauss rifle when it should be almost exactly equivalent to the hunting rifle for realism/immersion reasons.

    That's an easy fix in CK or FO4edit. I think I'll also make a .50 cal conversion receiver so it can be a 1:1 replacement for the hunting rifle.

    youst a simple Question the mosin has 1 conflict with the chinese mauser pistol and if i overwrite one of them the guns look youst really broken

    Great mod, but I would just like to ask if there is a chance of adding an iron sight zoom option as i prefer using the infantry variant.

      I also have the same question. I love playing with iron sights, but with the zoom removed it's very to hard aim.
      Anybody knows any way of changing this manually?

      OK, I found this way - you can add the zoom option by using FO4Edit. Here is the procedure:

      1. Download Fo4Edit from https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/2737
      2. Extract and run FO4Edit.exe as an administrator. Bunch of .esm and esp files will show up in a pop-up window.
      3. Select only Mosin.esp (you can right click "select none" to deselect them all), click OK.
      4. After loading is finished Expand "Mosin.esp", expand "Zoom". Click on ZM_Mosin, properties will appear on the right.
      5. Accepting the warning message, change "FOV Mult" to value that suits you (I use 2.0).
      6. Ctrl+S, to save the file click OK.
      Run, the game and enjoy your iron sight!

    This damn weapon mod is so damn beautiful.. The reload animation alone is god-like and then it fits well with the balance of fallout verse... Sure it's pew pew has a high one-nutt-one-rape ratio, but the slow reload and very limited magazine rounds just makes so much sense. 5 Nutt out of 5.

    Scopes were missing for a while, then I tried to mod it a few minutes later, and suddenly the option popped up. No clue why.

      The scopes only appear when you have the sniper receiver installed.

      Even with the sniper receiver installed, the scopes wouldn't appear for a while.

      Sometimes you need to equip the weapon to see the scope modification slot.

      That's very strange. Also, how do I modify the gun in FO4Edit to make the sniper receiver reload faster, and not make the infantry receiver reload faster as well?

      There is a condition attached to the sniper receivers and scopes so that only the sniper receivers can have a sight modification slot. If you change/add the freloadspeed=addnumberhere in the receiver modification blocks you can change the reload speed on those receivers alone, leaving the rest as is. Freloadspeed=1.3-1.5 should be good enough. It makes it faster without the player chucking them in in a caffeine fueled hysteria.

      If you use the creation kit it's even easier if you have to add the freloadspeed entry from scratch.

      The Creation Kit is the buggiest thing I've ever seen though. I literally can't load up the Mosin mod in the kit without it crashing.

      Do you have a step-by-step instruction for the CK? There are so many different things I need to fill out, and I have no idea what to put in every textbox.

    Is there a way to increase the reload speed with a scope added without editing the files themselves? The current reload speed is infuriatingly slow.
