After joining the Children of Atom in Far Harbor, the Commonwealth chapter remains hostile, at least in vanilla. With this mod, you can prove your devotion to Atom by carrying the Mother Icon on your person. More specifically, you can craft the 'Sigil of Atom' using the Mother Icon at any cooking station, under Utility. Once equipped, any Children of Atom you come across will be non-hostile. If unequipped, they will immediately become hostile. If they are already aggro'd, equipping the sigil will have no effect. The sigil takes up no slots, so it can be worn with any combination of apparel and armor. If you want the Mother Icon back for whatever reason, the sigil can be converted back at a cooking station under utility. This obviously requires Far Harbor.


I made this to compliment carnagefiend's Atomic Warlords, Gamma Repeater, and Gamma Grenade. If you're remotely considering a Child of Atom playthrough or just want them to have better equipment than tattered rags, you'll definitely want to check those out. This may ultimately get integrated into Atomic Warlords as well.

I've tested this semi extensively. The only catch I've found is they will still attack/be attacked by settlers. It works fine with companions. Let me know if something isn't working right.
