To do yourself in FO4Edit, open Fallout.esm and navigate to Lights, right click on "GunLgOverheatMPSLight" and "copy as override into..." and choose new file, or if you are near esp mod cap, choose another esp that alters very little. Go to the esp where you copied it to, and under the right side menu, change the "Model- MODL - Model Filename" line to an empty space. Voila! No more glow effect or errors and Pipboy light still works.
