Huge update, by request, that allows you to extensively customize the rate at which power armor (and jet packs! ) drain. Has more steps and is more customizeable than all other mods like this right now.

Read this first.Check the lines I type before using it.Don't ensure this method compatible with any mod affect jetpack directly or indirectly.Take your responsibility for deciding to use it.
If you use Mod Organizer 2 (MO2) and want to change jetpack velocity and flying duration,
you can press the puzzle icon in MO2 window and press ini.editor, choose fallout4custom.ini tap in the pop-up window.
    Then add following line :
    [General]

    sStartingConsoleCommand=setgs fJetpackThrustInitial 768;setgs fJetpackTimeToSustained 0.1;setgs fJetpackDrainSustained 0;setgs fJetpackDrainInital 0;setgs fJetpackThrustSustained 100

If you don't have[General] section in the fallout4custom.ini ,type[General] first just like above

    Extra explanation from internet

    sStartingConsoleCommand=
For people don't want to type all the command lines below when open the game each time, use this line to automate the process

    setgs
need setgs to make each following line work

    fJetpackDrainInital
(the missing third "i" in "initial" is not an error )
Controls the AP drain during initial flight phase. Default value is 64

    fJetpackTimeToSustained
Controls time of transition from "initial" to "sustained" flight phase.  Default value is 0.15

    fJetpackDrainSustained
Controls the AP drain during sustained flight phase.  Default  is 64

    fJetpackThrustInitial
Controls the force of the jetpack during initial flight.  Default is 768

    fJetpackThrustSustained
Controls the force of the jetpack during sustained flight.   Default is 85
a value of 100 lets you fly forever you just keep ascending
anything higher than 100 just increases the upward force applied.

"Armour" is correct. "Armor" is an unfortunate bastardisation by those content not to learn how to spell.

Or it could simply be the way language changes over time, depending on the culture speaking it.

'Armour' is an ugly word, I much prefer 'Armor' instead, and this is coming from a Brit.

Armour is how it should be spelt. Ending it in "or" makes it look like it should sound like "oor" at the end. The use of "our" on the end of the word changes it to look like how it should sound AKA the "uhr" sound. I don't mind your spelling of Aluminium because you actually changed how it is said too. You basically replaced the word with your own rendition of it. However. spelling something different to how it should be spelt and not changing how you say it is just wrong

James, your comment seems exactly backwards to a speaker of American English. In America the letter group (and word) "or" is pronounced identically to Ore or Oar. The group (+word) "our" is homophone to Hour, similar to the ends of Power and Flower. When these groups are displayed in other words that pronunciation is (usually, because English is a terrible kitbash of languages that only pretends to be respectable) retained. They don't say "Sailoor" when they're referencing Sailors, or "Puhrt" when they mean Port.

The "?r" grapheme is simply represented by "or". It's very much not Received Pronunciation, and considering that Armour as a word existed prior to the whole-cloth manufacture of the current British English accent, it can be argued that the American (Boston Area) accent and approach is more true to the origin of the word than the current British methodology. Removing the U brings it in line with the spelling of other similarly pronounced words. We don't spell mirror as mirrour, after all. Off the top of my head, the only word I can think of in the Americanized spelling that retains a u is Liquor, and the "ou" visible in Armour is reversed even though the grapheme at the end of both words is identical.

TL:DR the original Shakespearean plays sounded like NE coast Americans and they also changed almost every other word sharing the "?r" grapheme. Your "How it should sound" is based on a made up accent which the upper class popularized.

Armour and the associated spelling using a -OUR is known as the Queen's English. It is often times miscalled the King's English but it actually is either or depending on who is sitting on the throne at the time either a King or a Queen.

I haven't tried the jetpack, but the mod seems to still be working fine for everything else. No Fusion Core drain when jumping, sprinting, etc. Are you by any chance not using the F4SE?

how can you change what u set the drain as after u have already set it without having to delete the mod and re-install? i applied all drain settings to 0% thinking that would mean there is no drain at all but when i got into the game i was in power armor and my core still drained lots and so did my ap so i would like to change it but i dont know how. Also i think i might have done something wrong because to me it makes sense that 0% means no drain but it could also mean default, as in no change so that might be what happened but as of now im not sure. i just installed this mod and i need help. if anyone is able to help i would be thankful

Is this compatible with power armor overhauls? Or I guess my question is: does this change the fusion cores or the power armor?

I know this is gonna sound crazy but could you add a 8x drain version? And maybe a 10x, drain.

Trying to make power armour more like a chem and really make science important

Hey! I wanted to ask if you could add the option to customize the drain rate of the fusion core while sprinting? Seems like one mod had that ability at one point, but is hidden by the author now. It would be much appreciated, if you're not really into modding or fo4 these days though I do understand :)
