Pipe guns are among my favorites. There are quite a lot of development possibilities for them, and they are basically cheap. I think the pipe guns look suits the Fallout setting. People protect themselves as best they can. If you don't have a special (expensive/valuable) tool, then improvised is also good. What you find. Just make that thing work. So pipe guns are realistic. You can easily find ammunition for most of these weapons. In the upper (weakest) areas, most looters/raiders have weapons like this. I never underestimated them and used them with preference even when I was already at a fairly high level. This mod will definitely be perfect for me. I almost never used the silencer for the pipe guns. But now!
It's these QOL mods that I love the most, whatever the f*#@ that thing Bethesda made for it was I'm glad this replaces it, I know pipe weapons aren't exactly meant to be attractive - then again I suppose no weapon is really meant to be attractive... but when you spend a good amount of your time dropping some poor asshole with it I'd at least like to look down the sights of something a bit more sleek.
It's supposed to be an oil filter, which makes sense for a makeshift weapon like the pipe rifle, but honestly with all the weapon mods out there who even uses pipe weapons anymore?
Thanks so much for making this. I was looking all over for a mod to do something like this. I get what Beth was going for with the oil filter silencer, but it's just so annoying to use with iron sights. Very much appreciated.
