I like to rename items to identify cohesive outfits, but Fallout only allows you to rename items modifiable at crafting benches; an item without any available mods doesn't appear and cannot be edited. This is rectified for most vanilla items by popular mods such as Armorsmith Extended, but that doesn't help if other mod authors have created items without this as a consideration.

This is a script to run in FO4 Edit which will create a custom patch for your particular load order, adding a blank mod slot to all playable armors without one so they will show up at the Armor Workbench and can be renamed there.
