About this mod

The wooden shack floors are nasty! You'd think 200 years later people would know how to build with wood correctly.

I made this 4K (2K optional) re-texture to add immersion and a little bit of pretty to the Post-War world.

The wooden shack floors are nasty! You'd think 200 years later people would know how to build with wood correctly.

I made this 4K retexture to add immersion and a little bit of pretty to the Post-War world. I was careful to match the dimensions of the current floors so it didn't like either too large or too small.

I have two versions! One is the Dull Version which is meant to add a little more realism into the Fallout world, the other is a Bright version which is more pronounced, colorful, and stain looking. If you have any access to wood stain in the Post-War world, I'd assume that's how you'd make the wooden floors in your home. Your choice!

There's also a 2K option.

Check the Changes Log at the top.

If you haven’t done so already, you first need to edit a line in the Fallout4.ini for the game to read loose files.

  • Go to:- ……Documents\My Games\Fallout4 Locate the Fallout4.ini

Find the line under [Archive] sResourceDataDirsFinal=STRINGS\

Change this to sResourceDataDirsFinal=STRINGS\, TEXTURES\

  • Next, you will need to extract the textures folder from the archive you just downloaded to your Fallout 4 Data Folder.

 ……steamapps\common\Fallout 4\Data

Or use Nexus Mod Manager
