DESCRIPTION
This mod adds to Fallout 4 standalone Pre-War glasses, with clean black-colored rims and colored glass, for male and female characters. The colors for the lenses are Red, Black, Blue, Green, Orange and Purple, Brown, Fuchsia and Yellow.
The glasses are completely independent in the game, with their own effects (enchantments), and Material, Meshes and Textures files (diffuse, normal, specular, and environment). Depending of the direction from any source of light, the glass transparency will look light or dark.
The mod is available in two different ways for installation: Loose Files and packed in BA2-format. Also is included optional ESP replacements with different values in the stats added by the glasses.
In version 2.0 of the mod, the option to craft the glasses was added. They're now craftable at any chemistry station.
I made this because most glasses mods I found were only texture replacements, or directly modify the glasses found in the game. I personally prefer something new added to the game, and leave the originals alone.
The "Deluxe" in the name was meant as a generic brand. Any similarity in real life is just coincidental.
FEATURES
Each Deluxe Glasses adds +1 to Defense, +2 to Charisma, +2 to Perception, and +2 to Luck.
OPTIONAL FILES
• Two replacement plugins (ESP files) are included in the downloads page. The first adds +1 to Defense, and +1 to Charisma, Perception and Luck, instead of +2 by default, for those who consider the added values by default are too much. The second, for the cheaters out there, adds +1 to Defense, and +3 to Charisma, Perception and Luck, instead of +2 by default. Both plugin replacements require any of the main files (Loose Files or BA2) already installed. Extract and overwrite in the "Data" folder of the game.
• (FOR v1.0 ONLY - NO LONGER NECESSARY FOR v2.0 AND UP) Alternative textures for the tint in the lenses, in case you don't like the color Red by default. The colors are Black, Green, Blue, Purple, and Orange. They require any of the main v1.0 files (Loose Files or BA2) already installed. Extract and overwrite in the "Data" folder of the game.
HOW TO GET
• IN VERSION 1.0 ONLY: In General Atomics Galleria, in "Fallon's Deparment Store" on a display in the first floor. These glasses are unique and won't respawn once taken.
Note: These are not marked as owned, so it's safe to take them if you haven't completed the miscellaneous quest to speak to the Director to reopen the place.
• IN VERSION 2.0 AND UP: All glasses are craftable at any Chemistry Station. They are under the "Deluxe Glasses" category. Required components: Adhesive x 1 + Glass x 2 + Plastic x 3 + Screw x 2 + Steel x 1.
HOW TO INSTALL
• If you're using mods on Fallout 4 you should know by now, but if not, refer to this guide.
• Install first any of the main files (Loose Files or BA2), and then install over them the optional files you want.
UNINSTALL
[Step #1] Unequip the glasses –and just in case for safety– drop them, or use the console command "player.removeitem <BaseID> <#>". Save and close the game.
[Step #2] Disable the mod, and delete its files manually or using your favorite mod manager. Remember to delete any optional file if you installed any.
KNOWN ISSUES
When the glasses are dropped, the glass in the lenses become invisible. May be a problem related with the transparency (because it also happens with other glasses in the game).

PERMISSIONS
• This mod is exclusive for Nexus Mods site. I won't upload this anywhere else, and anyone should not upload this to any site.
• This mod was meant for the PC version of Fallout 4 only. I don't have a console for testing purposes, and don't want to support a place like Bethesda.net either, so please, don't port this to be used in any platform.
• You're free to modify any content from this mod to fit your personal taste for personal use only. Please, don't modify and upload this as a new mod anywhere.
• You're free though, to modify or create new texture replacements for this mod and upload your work on Nexus Mods, but only if you upload them to this site, don't forget to link to the original mod (this mod), and credit where is due.
