About this mod
Bags and backpacks available from merchants and lootable from some enemies. Non-craftable.
- Permissions and credits
Hello everyone!
This mod adds bags and backpacks as standalone items that can be bought from vendors and found across the Commonwealth.
All the backpacks are based on vanilla outfits to be maximum lore friendly.
You can buy them from proper merchants or find in proper places.
There is also a small chance to loot them from some enemies.
Update 1.1: Mailbag effect fix.
Update 1.2: Contains Trapper's backpack and disappearing armor fix for NPC.
Update 1.3: Invisible Traveler's Leather Coat fix.
Backpacks list:
- Dirty postman shoulderbag
- Postman shoulderbag
- Traveler's backpack
- Field Scribe's backpack
- Trapper's backpack (Far Harbor)
Each backpack has it's own stats and price. I've also added preview models, but since I'm not even an amateur in 3D I just used common military sac model and made few retextures.
All the backpacks are removed from the outfits they were attached to for better immersion.
Please remember, that some outfits that have huge parts on the back (like Hazmat) are incompatible with backpacks so you can't weare them at the same time.
Download and install with NMM

Manual: delete all the files of this mod from your game folder
This mod is probably incompatible with other backpacks mods. Unfortunately I don't have enough time to test it.
If you want to make a quick test, type following commands in console:
1) help "bag or backpack full name" 4 armo ( "" are needed!)
This will show you an ID of backpack you are looking for. The names are in backpacks list above.
2) player.additem <backpacl ID> (without <>)
This will add the backpack in your inventory.
Thanks to Eferas for Wearable Postman Shoulder Bag and to Aldebaran90 for Wearable Travel Backpack. Those mods gave me a good motivation and were a great educational material.
Special thanks to Perraine, aesfocus and chucksteel for their invaluable help on Nexus forum.
