Minor PSA: if you're using Better Dials for Power Armor (which changes the colors of the dials and greatly improves paperdoll texture), you must rename the loose .dds file it installs for the paperdoll. Otherwise the paperdoll won't get hidden, even if you choose that .esp from this mod. It's in Data\textures\interface\PA and called
PAConditionSolid_d.dds
just add .orig to the name or something, easier and safer than deleting it and forgetting you did so. Then the "hide" .esp from this mod will work properly. Otherwise you have Neanka's paperdoll over the other one, which matters if you want to reposition this one.
Aaaaaand two years later I reinstall the game and find me talking to myself. "Hey, future self! You are a dumbass!" Completely forgot about that loose file. Ah well.
Thank you for this psa, this directed me to get the effect that I wanted.
My config to get my desired effect: doll: native text: mode 2
This meant I had to simply rename every texture file added by the pa stats mod. I also have Better Dials at a lower priority in mo2 not sure if that makes a difference. This is my result. Bless you Neanka for having the ONLY PA Health Display on the nexus.
"cqf def_w_pa1_q giveitems' doesn't seem to work, and I didn't get the settings holotape. Anyone know how to spawn it if it fails to appear? The mod itself is working, I just want to adjust the paperdoll.
As of the most recent Beth tinkering with post-DLC useless patches, the Remover .esps no longer seem to do anything. You can't remove the frame or the vanilla paperdoll. HUDFramework maybe could also use an update (HoloTime has been broken for a while) but I think at this point no one expected to need to actively support mods four freaking years after release. Thanks Creation Clubbed in the Head!
Good news! I found what broke the mod. It seems to be a hudframework issue. When you use a DEF_HUD preset (clean HUD 2 in this case) it breaks hudframework.
In response to post #47185515. #47185655 is also a reply to the same post.

I had the same problem as in your screenshot. After some weeks of wallbanging, I think I've narrowed it down. Somehow it's caused by HUDMenuSet crosshair settings, HUDCrosshair_mc ScaleY, to be precise. Here's a screenshot of my power armor condition when HUDCrosshair_mc it set to 0.5 by ScaleY:
(it's kinda dark in my playthrough, disregard that)
It doesn't matter if you choose to hide or show crosshair, in my case it was always tied to ScaleY value of HUDCrosshair_mc. But If you set it to 0.6 or higher (centered at it's default position), everything is back to normal:
If this doesn't help, set ALL scale values in your hud back to 1 and check if their scaling affects the widget, value by value. You'll find the culprit eventually.
Like the mod and I have endorsed it. I have been getting a weird error recently, the doll was being displayed normally but now I am getting 0% on the helmet and the error Power Armor HUD: No command.
I am using Hide Helmets 2.0 by Murielkai which could account for the 0% on the helmet but I have no idea about the error.

getting old is fun
thanks for releasing all your stuff into the wild when you moved on! Flash is still on my list of "things i should just sit down and learn already"

I want mod, gradually colors only.
For now I have simply placed the mod over the original but it's messy.
