Post apocalyptic retexture for M1 Garand by asXas.

Requirements
Permissions and credits


Bandages, blood, dirt, scratches, cracks, bolts, rust... pretty much everything one would expect on a post apocalyptic weapon.

Needed: M1 Garand by asXas !!!

Replaces textures of: 
I made 3 variations of this mod 
  • replacer for This Machine only
  • replacer for all ordinary M1 Garands
  • replacer for all M1 Garands.

And optional attachments retextures which replaces muzzles and scopes for this weapon 
Note: I'm not able to make a non-replacer version, sorry.

Important:
  • I'm not an author of the original M1 Garand mod, I only made a retexture for it.
  • This mod contains ONLY a texture for this weapon, you will have to download the original mod separately.
  • I'm using a ReShade and ENB presets, so the textures might look slightly different in your game (if you don't use some ReShade and/or ENB yourself).

Install:
  • Download desired version of this mod (either specific replacer or replacer of all versions)
  • UnZip contents of archive to main folder of the game. For example I have "D:\games\Fallout 4\"
  • Re-write all if asked (make sure that you want to replace all your current textures)
  • No .esp activation or anything else needed
  • Enjoy!

Unninstall: 
Note: to restore default textures of M1 Garand, you will have to make backup of your original files OR keep the original M1 Garand mod archive OR download it again.

  • Go to the main folder of the game. For example I have "D:\games\Fallout 4\"
  • Go through folders: Data->Textures->Weapons->M1Garand
  • Delete files "M1Garand_d.dds" if you've downloaded ordinary replacer, "M1GarandTM_d.dds" if you've donwloaded This Machine replacer or both if you've donwloaded all-replacer
  •  If you were using attachments retextures as well, go to Data->Textures->Weapons->M1Garand->Attachments and delete M1GarandMuzzle_d.dds, M1GarandScope_d.dds, M1GarandSmallScope_d.dds
  • Apply original textures again (get files you deleted from original M1 Garand mod or from your backup)
