When I came across the Disciples in Nuka World with their unique looking headgear I thought they looked pretty cool, in particular the Disciple's Cowl. That said it didn't quite suit my taste, and I felt it had a bit more potential.
I made the following changes to the Disciple's Cowl texture:
I didn't like the green, dirty cowl of the original so I edited the texture to make the cowl a dark grey/black.
I wasn't sure I liked the lopsided eye slits on the faceplate. It seemed like you'd be missing half of your field of vision, so I added extra eye slits and leveled them out a bit.
I increased saturation of the rust (red paint?) very slightly, and raised the contrast of the faceplate as a whole by a small amount.
I have little to no experience in modding, other than from a tinkering user's perspective - I watched a few videos and tinkered until I made things work. This is my first shared 'mod'. That said, there might be flaws with the texture that I missed (I haven't noticed anything). The 'shadow' of one of the eye slits is slightly off if you look very closely.. one of the originals was like that as well, though.
Compatibility: This is the texture files for the Disciple Cowl only, so it's compatible with everything that doesn't also edit the Disciple Cowl textures. Nuka-World is required, since it's armor from that DLC.
