Power Armor Storage System

NOTE: I'm fairly confident that any major bugs are now fixed and I am happy with the state of the mod so I have made this the 'Full release'.

Thanks for the awesome review Gopher

Features:
===========================

Adds an automatic storage system to power armor frames which can be configured via an in-game program (holotape) added when operating power armor.
Anything stored in a power armor frame will be added to your inventory when operating the armor so this cannot be used as an infinite inventory (and yes this applies to companions who use the power armor as well).
Stored items can't be accessed from outside the power armor, although you will be able to see them from the quick loot menu.
There is also an option to be able to automatically remove the fusion core when exiting a power armor frame.

Note: When this option is enabled there will be a short 'blink' effect after exiting a power armor frame in order to disguise the power armor briefly disappearing which is required to correctly show that the fusion core has been removed. (Companions won't remove fusion cores when using power armor, even when this option has been enabled.)

If the "store equipped" option is enabled, the weapon that was equipped when exiting a power armor frame will be re-equipped and drawn when getting back in.

In Game "Product Manual":
===========================

Introduction:
The Power Armor Storage System automatically manages the stowing and retrieval of items and weapons from the Power Armor frames inventory. The system can be set to sync a default configuration between multiple Power Armor frames while also allowing each frame to be independently configured.

Note: The inventory capacity is limited by the load carrying capability of the power armor frame and will still encumber the user if overloaded.

Configuration:
The Power Armor Storage System can be configured via the [Internal Storage Configuration Options] section in the main menu. The settings chosen will be saved to the current Power Armor frames internal memory and can be changed at any time while operating the Power Armor.

[>> Store Ammo] is ON by default and will store ammo for the equipped weapon and/or for all heavy weapons if the corresponding options are also ON.

[>> Store Equipped Weapon] will store the currently equipped weapon when exiting the Power Armor. All corresponding ammo will also be stored if [>> Store Ammo] is ON.

[>> Store Explosives] stores all explosives (grenades and mines) of the types defined by the corresponding weapon definitions.

[>> Store Heavy Guns] stores all heavy guns on exiting the Power Armor. All corresponding ammo types will also be stored if [>> Store Ammo] is ON.

[>> Store Junk] stores all junk items on exiting the Power Armor.

[>> Store Melee] stores all  melee weapons of the types defined by the corresponding weapon definitions.

[>> Remove Fusion Core on exit] removes the fusion core on exiting the Power Armor frame in order to prevent operation by unauthorised users.

Default Settings:
The default settings will be applied to any newly acquired power armor.

[> Restore Default configuration] sets the current configuration options to match the stored default configuration.

[> Update Default to Match Current Settings] will save the current configuration settings as the new default configuration.

[> Reset Default Settings] resets the stored default configuration to match the original factory default configuration.

Memory Limitations:
The number of individual configurations that can be stored by the system is limited to 128. In the event that this limit is exceeded, any new Power Armor frames will use the current default settings. The stored configurations can be cleared at any time using the [> Update Power Armor Storage System] option in the main menu.

Weapon Definitions:
The types of weapons stored using the various configuration options can be altered via the [Manage Weapon Definitions] menu option.

Any "Heavy Gun" acquired or equipped when using the Power Armor Storage System will automatically be added to the Heavy Guns weapon definitions. The corresponding ammo type will also be added as long as it hasn't already been exluded via the Ammo definitions configuration.

To manually add or remove weapon types from the various weapon definitions, select the relevant option from the [Manage Weapon Definitions] menu and follow the on-screen prompts.
A configuration inventory will be opened on exiting the Power Armor HUD menu showing any weapons/ammo from the users inventory that are currently included in the definitions.
Simply add any additional weapons/ammo in order to include it's type in the definitions. Alternatively, removing an item from the configuration inventory will exlude that weapon/ammo type from the relevant definitions.
The software will be updated and synced across all owned Power Armor frames on closing the configuration inventory.

Note: The configuration inventories will only accept the associated item types e.g. only Heavy Guns can be added/removed from the Heavy Guns definitions.

(There is no option to auto store "normal" weapons, armor, misc or aid items as I don't think it's really necessary and would make the mod much more cumbersome.Any single weapon can however be stored on a power armor frame using the "Store Equipped" option)

Updating:
Updating the Power Armor Storage System is required in order to ensure any changes made by a software update (i.e. mod update) are properly applied. This will reset all owned Power Armor frames to the default factory configuration.
After any software update, run the [> Update Power Armor Storage System] command from the main menu.

(If you ever download an update for this mod I highly recommend using this option otherwise script properties may not be properly updated.)

Uninstalling:
Before uninstalling the Power Armor Storage System, it is recommended to first run the "Remove Power Armor Storage System" command from the main menu. This will remove all stored items from all owned Power Armor frames (It is recommended to also have easy access to external storage when running this command in order to avoid becoming over encumbered). The Power Armor Storage System software will then be removed, allowing the system to be safely uninstalled.

NOTE: If you don't do this and there are still items in any of your Power Armor frames, they will stay there and you will have no way to access them!

Compatibility:
===========================

"Should" be compatible with all mods/DLC...
However, Mods that allow storing of power armor frames in workshops (e.g. Move Store and Assign Settlers to Power Armor ) can cause the limit on stored configurations to be reached without actually having 128 different suits of power armor as every time a frame is stored and then placed, it is considered a "new" frame. This also means that any configuration saved to a power armor frame will be removed every time it is stored and then placed - the default setting will automatically be applied though so having this set to your favourite options will get around this problem.

Also, the storage system isn't applied to settlers which does open up the possibility for exploiting the mod to move large amounts of junk between settlements without having the perks for creating supply lines - I don't think this is particularly game breaking and I don't plan on applying the storage effect to settlers (at least not right away).

Any mod-added weapons should be compatible out of the box as long as they are consistent with the vanilla keywords/weapon types.

There aren't any vanilla assets modified by this mod, but use some common sense when using this in conjunction with other mods that change the way power armor is used or add different functionality etc.

If using DEF_UI (or another UI mod) I recommend tweaking the position of notifications and container UI size to make sure you can see the notification messages while in a container.

Recommended Mods:
===========================

If you are planning on using the Store Junk option, I highly recommend using an item sorting mod such as Valdacil's Item Sorting that can move quest items etc. to the Misc section in order to prevent them being left behind - anything with scrappable components is considered junk by this mod.

Mod Installation:
===========================

Download with manager - recommended
or
Copy archive contents into the fallout 4 data folder (Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout 4\Data)

The optional file (version 1.01) allows any gun to be added to the 'Heavy Guns' definitions through the holotape menu.
 - ONLY use 1 file, download the optional version INSTEAD of the main file if you want that functionality.

NOTE: If experiencing bugs when updating to version 1.01 and the in game [> Update Power Armor Storage System] function doesn't help, try a clean install i.e. remove the previous version, load the game, save and exit before installing the new version.
