IMPORTANT UPDATE! Turned out the game does not find .bik videos if the video is packed in a .ba2 archive. That means your game will stop on a black screen when you try to restore a frame with the default settings of the mod (the video should be played during the recovery scene). In v1.1 the .bik video is packed separately from the .ba2 archive as a loose file which solves the issue.
Okay I see that you have to unpack this as a "loose file" so the video will play. Wierdest s#*! as it worked perfectly fine for me a few times then stopped. Someone please adopt this mod into their PA overhaul this is only logical.
I'm getting the same CTD even given tho the mod has the video as loose ( freezes with the 30 minutes later video ) in the configuration settings just set it to no time change in the holotape and it works albeit less interesting transition like the video option does. Fallout 4 does not like these videos haha Edit : typos
Just an FYI for those of you who are having trouble with this mod. make sure it's at the bottom of your load order, and you can't already be in power armor. You have to exit your power armor for the option to appear.
For the love of All That Is Holy someone fix this mod please. It's the best idea and most natural way to get new frames. Hell even make it all busted up and you gotta repair it idc. Buildable PAF not realistic. Buying PAF jonky and cheesy. Atom cats just giving you one is cheesy. Finding it behind a novice locked door is cheesy.
This is the only way to feel like you earned it. EDIT: So somehow I missed that you are supposed to put this as a "loose file" just be cognizant of where it is on the left pane list in MO2.
Hey CDante, I have found some kind of interference between your mod and Corpse Cleaner by caleb68. When getting the human butchering perk from his mod, it is no longer possible to even loot PA-wearing enemies unless i am sneaking... something with the perk as far as i can tell.
Edit 2022-09-15: I was able to fix that by putting the check for power armor (the one that prevents butchering while in power armor) not on the player but rather on the target, so the butchering is only allowed for non-PA enemies, of course, for the perk from Corpse Cleaner.
I hope I can get some help with this mod. It is currently the only one I have installed - totally vanilla FO4 install otherwise - and it won't activate. It shows as active, but the Space option doesn't show up. I've quit and restarted Steam, Nexus Mod Manager, etc., even within Fallout 4 itself it says the mod is active. There's no issue of "order" because, again, it's the only mod. If I could get some help here it'd be fantastic.

since it's your first mod I'll ask, did you enable the game for mods?
