About this mod

All new sounds for the .44 and siblings.

"They say God created men, but Samuel Colt made them equal."
                                                                                  Traditional, United States

Replacement sound effects and foley for the .44 revolver pulled from various sources, adjusted, mixed and otherwise abused. Generally an attempt to make the .44 more satisfying and convincing to use, without that hammerless popgun garbage. I've left the cylinder snapping alone as I was unsatisfied with various attempted replacements, possibly that will be actioned in the future. (Reload and cylinder close updated in 1.1) An element of the firing sound has been around like a ten penny whore, so I'm unable to verify its origin, I'll just stick my head on the block.

v1.1 Demonstration
Not a fanning receiver, shut up. I can hit a barn anytime I want.

v1.0 Demonstration

Still v1.1
Now the Third Person Audio Fix is available, adjusted some sounds to attempt to strike a balance between first and third person volume.
Compromise is the name of the game because Bethesda made said game. Fun.

v1.1
Improved reload foley, reverted cylinder spin.

v1.0
Hey youuu guuuys.

More fun with revolvers from other Nexus authors:
Third person audio fix - Huzzah! There is a fix for third person reload and hammer cocking.
Toggle Revolver Fanning - Shoot people faster and with more energy.
Stay Focused Son - Way better "weapon lowered" 3rd person pose for pistoleers.
One Handed Revolver - Look Ma, one hand!
Spinning revolver equip - The engravings give you no tactical advantage whatsoever.
Extended Weapon Mods - Create bastard mutant frankensteinian abomination revolvers.
