Couldn't notice a drop in Performance at all, on my System that is. But due to my System not being a Beast to begin with the Mod shouldn't cause Performance Issues at all.
When pushing in a Fusion Core the Bottom of all Packs clips a decent amount into the View/Camera Position during the animation. Not much I can do about that unless I would move up the Pack a lot more but than it looks (even more) silly in my opinion. So I rather deal with that bit of Camera Weirdness when putting in a Core - which to be honest isn't that often anyway. At least for me.
During testing I had a single occassion during which the T-45 Version glitched out right after being applied to it for the first time and caused the whole Jet Back Pack to go wonky in its Movements .. static, too low, only responding to the Movements of the Armor in a very limited fashion. Reloading the save created after applying the Modification fixed the Issue.
Since than I was unable to recreate it at all with any of the Jet Back Packs .. so gonna note it down as "game having a moment" and ignoring it for now. If it should happen to you try saving - reloading / saving - main menu - reloading. If that doesn't fix it let me know and I will try to recreate and fix it once and for all. Hopefully..
The Meshes within the Archive provided do work ingame, in Outfit Studio and in the Creation Kit without any Issues or even slow down during loading them. Yet for reasons that evade me at this point they will cause NifSkope 2.0_dev6 to crash. If that is enough reason for you to worry I would suggest avoiding this Mod.

Man just you wait, I'm about to release the power armor overhaul mod to end all power armor overhaul mods, and it includes a new backpack and jetbackpacks
All of which in a separate "back" slot instead of misc ;P
But I decided to add it to the Jetpack for two reasons - for one jetpacks are, for me, the only reason to ever use power armor and hence I had no interest in a non-jetpack version as I generally speaking mod for my own enjoyment - the other reason being is that this way allowed me to not deal with attachpoints and hence make it far easier for myself to achieve what I wanted to. So sorry to say, technically possible, highly unlikely to happen with this particular mod.
First off, thank you, glad you like it. In regards to adding this to these Mods - for the time being very unlikely as I have very little interest in power armor to begin with and don't use any of those [or similiar] mods myself.
Well, in theory a change like that can be made very easily with FO4 Edit - so easy in fact that it makes no sense for me to do it as an optional file and as a result make the file section filled with various options over time ..
Simply load the ESP in fo4edit, navigate to the "Object Modification" Category - than select the "tier" of the four you'd like to change the carry weight (or all of them, same process for each) - in the view panel of FO4Edit navigate to the Carry Weight Property almost at the bottom of the List - change the "value2-float" property to whatever you desire by rightclick on the number -> edit - save the esp by quitting fo4edit - done.
Thanks for the quick tutorial. To my understanding, this only changes the options' value. But for the sake of learning, can you show how to add extra options?
aaewen - well, to be quite honest depending on what you want to add it can be much more of a hassle - so hard to go into much detail here.. all I can say is that I personally learned a lot by just trial and error shenanigans while keeping a working backup of a file at all times.
I uploaded this to Xbox One for you, per your description suggestion. I am happy to keep it updated anytime you update the PC version. I hope that I gave you credit in the way that you were expecting since I posted a link to nexus pointing to this mod, cut and pasted the entire description AND the thank you portion for all the people that helped you make it. I took no credit for the mod at all but I am happy to take responsibility for it for you on consoles because... its awesome.
Thank you - in regards to the Backpack without the Jetpack, very unlikely to happen for two reasons, at least from my end. For one, and the more important reason, I have no grasp on how the attachpoints work on the Mesh end - which is why I added the Backpack to the Jetpack in the first place as I could avoid dealing with the Attachpoints that handle the position and attachment to the overall Frame. The second reason is more personal - in general I don't play a lot with Power Armor and the only real reason I use it from time to time is the Jet Pack function and hence I was only interested in adding something to the way I use it personally - hence another reason why I went with the Jetpacks.
