Console Support - I will upload this mode to Beth.net for the XBone within the next couple of days (and once I figure out how.)

Unfortunately, since scripts are required for this mod to work, PS4 support will not be possible.

    v1.2.0 is up

After hours of banging my head against the wall and various other objects, I believe I've now handled all the variations of installing this mod:

    * Installing after Star Control has already been started and some cores have already been collected.

    * Installing after Star Control is finished (i.e. mainframe repaired with 20+ cores) but the Misc Objective to "Finish repairing the mainframe" is still active.

In other words, it should handle all the non-happy path situations and show you markers for any remaining Star Cores until you have picked up the very last one. I gave this a pretty thorough test, but please let me know if you run into any issues.

If you've already installed v1.0, just update with this version and replace. If you are on the happy path, i.e. you installed this mod before Star Control began, there's probably no reason to update.

Hello! Installed the mod through Vortex, the Cappy portion works great but I have no markers for the Star Cores. I have the holotape and toggle the show/hide options hoping to have something happen and it doesn't work. Installed the mod after the first star core was picked up and placed.

It works perfectly and is great. People saying it doesn't work have an error installing or with load order. The mod isn't the problem.

I installed the mod with 5 reactors missing to complete the panel. Finding the reactors inside the facilities is a breeze, what's more complicated are the ones outside, it's a hassle. The mod worked perfectly, it gave me the location of the last 5 (I caught them swearing because I'm sure I passed them and didn't see them)I got the armor, and uninstalled the mod. Thanks for the mod, it saved me a lot of time!

Hey, I might need some help getting this mod's effects to actually start. Didn't get the settings holotape, had to craft it myself. The only options in there are for 'hide', but they don't do anything (if I select one, they still reload saying Hide) - and I have no new markers at all.

Already had 20/35 installed, am tracking the Misc quest, was in Commonwealth when first installed and have travelled back to NW, and have interacted with the main Star Core console. The misc is the only thing I'm tracking, so the only markers I have are a custom one (always set to home base) and the one for the Star Core console.

Anybody here experienced similar and have a fix? Cheers.

EDIT: Reinstalled the mod manually instead of using NMM and now have working quest markers. Anybody dealing with something similar, try this.

Nuka Xtreme fell through the world to an inaccessible place so I used console commands to get the recipe but the quest to collect it from this mod is still marked as incomplete

MOD WORKING!!! First, run the quest, then install the star core in the "Star Manager" (lies next to him), then activate, click on the settings, show markers (you should be able to see only the inscription to hide).Exit the Pip-Boy, open the map.

This mod is hilariously broken, which is a shame since it appears to be the only one of its kind.

In previous playthroughs, the mod would repeatedly direct me to Star Cores I'd already collected, no matter what combination of options I'd select with the settings holotape. Now it's doing the same thing AND isn't even painting any markers on my compass. The only markers it's showing me are to the doors to the interiors where the Star Cores are. Once I enter - nothing. I have to search the building top to bottom, just like in vanilla.

The "0% (Markers Are Never Hidden) option for the Hidden Cappy quest also does not work - the markers are STILL HIDDEN.

If anyone knows of a mod that actually does what this one claims to accomplish, please send me a link.
