Advanced Perks for Fallout 4
Current version: 0.3.1

Advanced Perks adds a new rank to 55 perks while maintaining balance and scaling - all without breaking your current characters. Weapon specialization perks have been re-scaled to proc their secondary effects much more often, crafting perks now grant bonuses to damage and defenses, and much, much more. No additional scripts were written and none of the DLC were touched - all of this was done using existing entry points and modified ability data, so this mod is as lightweight and clean as it gets.

Key Features

  • 55 perks received a new rank.
  • New perks have level requirements up to level 60. Build your character higher than before!
  • Many perks were re-scaled to have boosted secondary effects.
  • Damage was taken out of weapon specialization perks and put elsewhere. That commando/rifleman build you've always wanted might actually work now!
  • Power Armor just got way easier to use. Nuclear Physicist makes your fusion cores last way longer early on, and there are plenty of entry level perks to reduce the AP cost of power attacking with close-range weapons.

See the ReadMe for a detailed list of changes.

Installing This Mod

Installation is simple, as it's just a single esp file. Download through NMM and activate, or activate manually if you're so inclined. Manual installation instructions can be found here.

Installing this mod on a character above level 60 may result in a slight feeling of being underpowered until you're able to level up a bit and take some of the new perks. Your mileage may vary.

Uninstalling This Mod

Remove via NMM, or perform the reverse of the installation if you installed it manually.

New perk ranks purchased by your character will disappear upon uninstallation, and those perk points will be lost permanently. To prevent this, I recommend using another mod like Perk Reset Chem by DDProductions83 (http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/10816) to refund your perk points before uninstalling.

Compatibility

Advanced Perks will conflict with mods that change any of the huge number of perks affected by this mod or their associated ability/spell data. A full list of perks unaffected by this mod can be found in the ReadMe.
