Of course! Killing them is far worse than slaughtering their parents, dismembering the bodies, and eating what's left all in front of them then turning around and beat on the child for a few hours until you get bored and decide to sell them into slavery. Right? XD
Wait, why is it gone? I'm on pc, but why was it removed on console? Is it because it's "wrong" or something? In fallout 3, you could blow up two children in megaton, sell bryan wilks into slavery, and even kidnap a 4 year old girl and sell her into "slavery" (seriously bethesda? that is sick!).
Cant have soccer moms blogging about seing their children kill another children for fun while perfectly feeling fine while they murder adults and animals in cold blood
Bugthesda's/Microsofts modding platforms are "political correctness" in modding form. They can keep it and stuff it where the sun never shines. That's the reason I don't even have an account on the Bethesda modding site.
You should rename the mod to "Killable Synth Children" and rename every child in the game to "Synth [name]" then add a synth component to their inventory then reupload it to bethesda.net.
mkess is correct in implying that this is the very reason sites like Nexus exist. While there is some censoring on nexus for the most part mods are allowed as long as you don't steal other's work and claim it as your own. Bethesda has to deal with being the lighting rod for the fury of the lynch mobs in the USA and other countries. Real life can be real ugly and honestly that would not be fun in games anyway, however silly things like in FO3 where you strip the clothes off a shirtless Raider and he/she suddenly has a tshirt and boxers or nuking a town and 2 kids in it are totally unaffected are born straight out of fear that they will be the next target of the Offended Crusaders of the Helpless Children. Nexus is not the game developer and what they do is not in any way illegal so the lighting rod placed on them is only a fraction of the size of a major game label and as a result they can be a bit more relaxed and open up the doors for risque' content. If it was obviously intentionally disabled by Bethesda of course they cannot allow it on anything with their brand affixed to it. Think about it though, if Bethesda was REALLY concerned about nudity and mayhem they could easily take steps to discourage (i.e. make it a lot harder) any modding they deemed unsuitable. But they don't. As long as no code comes from their original game (think "Hot Coffee" for GTA) then they are relieved of any bad PR accountability
Well, this shows how ironic our real world rating system is. Once a college professor said: "It's ok to have children watch explosions and gunfire, but when a couple bare breasts popping out ... someone will freak out and try to cover children's eyes"
There are so many taboos that may collide and it brings out the conflict within us. 99.99% of games out there involve killing. It is not only ok but REQUIRED, or the game won't be fun. But dismemberment existed as far back as "Ultima Online" (pioneer MMORPG) and it was taken down within a week (due to complaints from the PR dept and lawyers). 20 years later, Fallout 4 can freely dismember NPC on XBOX/PS4 and the world is ok with that (the Feds didn't take down Bethesda yet).
But if we are to examine a universe like Fallout where inhumanity and horror go unchecked, where players can witness either the aftermath of, or even participating in... humans skinned and carved to bones, possibly while alive (by Supermutants), dismemberment, burned alive, corpses hung to rot, etc... and along with all the things we can do to children (story wise) such as selling to slavery, killing their parents, etc... and then we can manage to leave out killing children. A horror movie is not complete if we know a certain characters are safe: the adults run in horror from zombies, monsters, or whatever, and the children just sit around watching with popcorn. Try that on "Walking Dead", Carl will be like "EVERYONE runs, I will hold off the zombies, I am immortal, they can't hurt me" as we watch Carl (and other children) run around blocking the zombies from advancing. In fact, the whole TV show may end in 1 season where children just wipe zombies out.
However, pardon me being devil advocate ... but with raiders being horrible beings as they are, in the universe of Fallout, they would do way more than just shooting dead someone .... you know ... torture, rape, humiliation, ... (go read up tortures in the Dark age)... humans can be so "creative" in this aspect. And children are just as subject to these kind of horrors. So are we ready for children nudity, and rape?
It brings out the hypocrite in us. So we welcome violence of all kinds. But we step back when it involves sadism and sex. I am not saying I am looking for mods like this. But I just want to bring up that ... if we are ok to "go all the way" then ... we need to define what "all the way" is. Sex animation is already there. "Violation" is in the work (they don't use the R word). But that one Sex framework was taken down by owner because players could do it to children. So is it safe to say that ... we draw the line there? That pedophilia is something still totally taboo to us all, that we do not want to exist even in such "free for all" type of universe like Fallout?
Once again, this is for argument sake. I am not hoping to have anyone make such a mod. Although I do not object to killable children, because I like Raider children. It's horrible I know. But we didn't come to Fallout for Barney and Hello Kitty now.
tomomi1922 so true man id be ok with all that in a game not because I like watching torture or children getting raped or paedophilia or people being humiliated but its real raiders would abduct children sell them back or off into slavery or just keep them for them selves easy way to take a settlement have a couple kids pretend to be hurt everyone comes out and BAM!! kids kill em raiders raid etc its brutal but a cool addition its like in skyrim a dragon kills a village but the kids run around unharmed lol please dragon would so eat the little kids same with settlements in fallout robots attack a settlement there not gonna care or distinguish between kids and adults. But like you said beth would get into s#*! tons of flack
Part of the hypocrite is in claiming that 99% of all games involve killing. I mean, I get it. I play Fallout 4. I play Bethesda games where children are routinely eaten by monsters, blown up, sold into slavery and such. I'm also looking at my games. Madden NFL, Monopoly, Deal or No Deal, Pro Bass Fishing (I do kill fish in that one), RailRoad Tycoon 3, NBA Live, Jeopardy. I'm pretty sure I'm not REQUIRED to kill anyone in Planet Coaster or Rollercoaster Tycoon World, The Sims 4, Poker Night at the Inventory or Rock Legend. Sure, I made a few innocent mistakes back in Theme Hospital, but I wasn't TRYING to kill anyone. Likewise, I don't try to actually off anyone in WWE2K17. My job is just to bash the guy's brains in until he wishes he was dead. Am I alone on this one? I can't be the only one that buys PC games that don't require me to kill folks. 99%? I think not. Therefore, I am not.
Dermonte and Saint James sold some children to the Fiends (Cook Cook namely) and apparently one of the two (I forget which) had a taste for young girls per the other's diary.
You have right but i just hope im not gonna see similar posts below mod that add raping childern in fallout cuz it's just a game. There is a line you should not cross. Edit: god damn i hate when mod change language to english. Now i see "Child" on all kids
Very true, I have been saying that for years, the double standards in the world when it comes to kids seeing violence and seeing bare breasts popping out, or two gay men kissing, seriously? And the fact this is just a game, where you kill everyone that is in your way if you wanted to, but no not the children. Because being an psychotic serial killer destroying what is left of the human population in Fallout 4 is alright, but the children are no. (Don't know which one was worse, Fallout or Skyrim, the latter having you eat an Priest's flesh in one quest, and the implication that Markarth are all eating human meat without knowing it.).
And it's not like I am enjoying it all the time, I just like the option of risking it. Okay in Skyrim, Whiterun. Braith is usually killed by me because she never stops being an asshole, but the second I attack an whiterun guard or Nazeem, and accidentally kill Lucia, I feel sad because she's one of the few child NPCS I don't wish to kill (Same with Sissel and Sofie). But see the types who freak out about mods like this just think we want to kill them all because we are mental, I only just started playing Fallout 4 so I haven't seen many child NPCS just yet to comment whether I like to keep them alive.
Since we could do so in Fallotu 1 and Fallout 2 in the ucnesnroed version of thsoe games, Also the afct ebthesda recorded death soudns proves it was intended at one point.....Also it ameks taking cae of Shaun into a actual challange
Here's how I see it. Realism/immersion, vesting interest in the world, events, story.
Kids die in real life. yea, sorry, it's not nice, but it happens. So i have mods liek this so when I'm travelling and I find a settlement, but then raiders attack and they actually kill a kid it just adds more immersive realism. I feel sad for the kid, I feel more angry against the Raiders and I even more so want to kill the Raiders and create a better world.
It's like the kid I found who was stuck in a fridge, i tried taking him back to his parents, got into a fight with a deathclaw that attacked the kid. It attacked and instantly killed the kid- Very sad as i'd totally forgotten I had the mod. But it's an experience I won't easily forget and it adds to my immersion and experience in this world.
Another reason for child raider mods. Children being brought up by Raiders to be killers and murderers. It makes sense. these adult Raiders must come from somewhere. Right? They were children too once. Sometimes you must kill them or die yourself.
A thing that sadly reflects some reality. There are real children African killers in real life which I know for a fact that special forces were forced to shoot and kill or they would've been killed themselves. Disturbing, yes, sad, yes. Does it happen- most certainly.
Even Movies have kids die, books even fantasy ones have kids sometimes die. Why? because most of us become invested in the story and we hope for the hero to make things better.
I have the raider children mod so I only kill children that try to kill me and the idea that other NPCs can kill children like hostile creatures and factions adds immersion.
Not only does it add immersion, as in no one is safe in the wastes, but I'm a massive classic fan so I use it to add to the classic fallout feel that I'm going for.
For me, its because it was possible in the classic games and the only reason it was changed was because of censorship. I like to have consistency, even if Im not choosing to kill the kids. It also makes it possible for them to die by the hand of NPCs. Hastening the actual need to protect them, if you so choose.
Can we kill the synthetic child shaun at the end with this mod ? I really don't want him to exist at all so if this mod makes me able to kill him i'd be happy
Amazing how something fucked up like this is ok to have up, but as soon as a sex mod gets uploaded to Nexus everyone loses their minds and the Mods get ban happy...
What "great" (fucked up) priorities we have on the world of the 21s Century...
If child soldiers were a thing, which they are in the middle east and china, and one was armed with a dynamite belt and about to jump inside your APC you'd have only 2 options: Let him /her jump in and explode your entire squad, or take the shot and close the hatch so that you and everyone else survives.
Killable children just makes that realistic scenario possible. If bethesda didn't want it you'd be hearing public statements at EA-Online.... It's much less fucked up than an certain alternative vore mod I know that is a standalone that features getting shoved up someones fuckin' crotch!
Been looking for this one. Was doing Rocket's Red Glare and hated I couldn't kill the Brotherhood Squirts. They eventually died in a fire, so why not allowed to shoot them?
Also, where did the Brotherhood get the kids, anyway? All members look like they're single and unmarried? Did they just snatch them up from the wasteland and brainwash them or something?

I have no idea if it even works, i dont have a xbox one so i cant really test console mods.
Killable Children (XB1)
Aaaaaaaaand its gone! Boy that was fun for a day.
They should ban themselves.
Other: Billy Peabody is killable during his quest.

Technically you are not killing children then .

If no, its fine to install but conflicts with other mods that edits the same records.
immersion thats all.
Also sometimes those little shits just gotta die.
