2018/11/10: After not playing for several months, I have switched to VIS-G and will no longer be updating this.

takatoriyama is back and updating Radrose Usability Enhancements and I was thinking of stepping back from updating this. However, enough people have requested I continue and our mods are different enough to justify having both available.

QUESTION: Would people be interested in patches for Better Notes, giving mod notes, books, etc the fonts and paper from that patch?  I'm thinking about doing some for myself and would be happy to share them.

NOTES
  • I do not play in survival mode nor will I so these patches are not geared toward a survival mode play through. I may make patches or accept patches from other modders for survival mode.
  • Items marked with an asterisk (*) are mods I don't use so I am counting on folks that do use them to let me know if anything is wrong with them. 
  • I do not include components on scrap items; I recommend using Hud Hud Plus instead.

~~Valdacil's Item Sorting - Unofficial Fallout 4 Patch Patches~~
There are two sets of patches: one set will work with an existing interface and the other with my modified interface. Both sets bring forward the changes from UFO4P and incorporate them into VIS. I have also converted trash items (books, magazines, etc) into scrap and given them appropriate components.

Misc changes or changes kept from VIS
  • Changed the ITMBottleDownCOPY sound ITMBottleDown for Bourbon, Moonshine, Refreshing Beverage
  • Kept the HC_SustenanceType_QuenchesThrist for Nuka-Cola Quantum, Nuka-Cola Victory, Ice Cold Nuka-Cola from VIS
  • Sweet Roll as a FeaturedItem
  • Kept the Description for the following notes: View from the Vault series of notes as well as Bill's Letter and Fear the Future? and Kenji Nakano Case Notes, Eliza Journal
  • Sleepwalking Note is now a FeaturedItem

Below are changes I've made that I think make sense. I welcome comments, suggestions, complaints, etc.

  • Removed the Bottle tab and replaced it with Collectables and Valuables. This holds all the collectible items as well as currency, unique items, and anything tagged valuable.
  • Re-tagged bottles so they would appear at the top of the junk tab.
  • Notes now holds Notes, News, Recipes, and Schematics
  • Magazines category was replaced by Perks. Perk magazines and Bobbleheads appear here.
  • Settings is now Settings and Tools. Setting holotapes and mod tools appear here.

Indigestibles
  • ITMBottleDownCopy changed to ITMBottleDown
  • Dirty Water is tagged as (Drink)
  • Added new tag (Stealth) for Stealth Boy and changed the icon for Device.
  • Changed Cat Meat to Cat Food, made it Prewar and the MODL is for dog food. (If people don't like this I will separate it out and make it optional. Seriously, I have a deep set inability to handle cats being hurt.)
  • Added Fresh tag for rad free crops so they will sort into Rad Free food
  • Added Mash tag (for Sim Settlements)
  • Changed Chicken Noodle Soup preview to Food_Soup

Misc Items
  • For collection mods, added the following tags: Toy, Model, DRGN, Comic, Car, Truck, Zippo, Kit. However, an alternative will be available so anyone who wants to can use the Collectible tag instead.
  • Prewar items now have the CA_ObjTypePrewarItem and NotJunkAmmo keywords.
  • Duct Tape, Circuit Boards, and Wonder Glue in all their forms now have the keyword of NotJunkAmmo.
  • Publick Occurences now have a tag of News rather than Notes.
  • Items tagged as Resource now have the keyword of NotJunkAmmo
  • Cigarette and Cigarette Pack have the keyword of CA_ObjType_PrewarItem.
  • Various Collectibles have been given the NotJunkJetAmmo, BobbleheadKeyword, and FeaturedItem keywords.
  • Shipments now have the tag of Shipment rather then Scrap.
