I want to inform you all that i am having some serious problems and cannot be online all the time as before .
I will explain to clarify the situation.
As ive said in the past im unemployed for over 2 years now and the s.h.i.t. finally hit the fan.
As of 12/12/2016 my home has no power because i couldnt keep up with the bills .
I have moved my main rig to my brother-in -law's business location where i spend most of my day since home is an icebox.
You may have also noticed that i am adding a donation button and its obviously NOT to make a profit but to help me get some essential stuff like a wood stove and a small electrical generator to cover my basic needs.

OK who wanted a PRISON ??
Who has a security complex and needs a place to feel safe ??
Who just wants a new cool location to set up a settlement ??
Well look no further my friends...
I have answered your calls and present to you the BOSTON STATE PRISON!!
You are now the proud Wardens of a State correctional facility .
Yes folks The ONE AND ONLY actual Jail in all of the commonwealth that you can use as a settlement and be more secure than the president of the country himself..:P

Ok now some info :
This Facility and location is NEW on a hand made landmass that is situated next to the ocean neighboring with Nahant .
It has 2 access roads/bridges that connect to the roads and have some traffic on either side plus a few nasty neighbors as well..
Its well protected since its surrounded by water and only access is the bridges that are easily defended since ive placed turret stands in relevant positions to do so.
Even if someone gets into the zone...he isnt getting in since we have a crapload of doors and turrets covering them .
The inside is what you would expect from a prison with A LOT of bars and no access areas for the general population .
I managed to fit 27 cells into the building with a lot of space in the "day areas" (This is where inmates spend their time when not allowed in their cells).
WE have 4 bathroom/shower areas (2 on each floor in opposite corners)
We have 2 mess/dining areas with closed off kitchens (inmates are served through window openings )
We have a "sunlight" and exercise area .
Now the admin building which is attached to the main jail is ofc sealed off from the inmates with various doors etc.. and in there we have..
The guard quarters ,security and monitoring ,the medical bay, the kitchens,weapon lockup ,administration desks and finally the Wardens office that can be used as a player home.
Now when you get there ..
You have to unlock certain doors and this is done via terminal for the front doors..(look for it...it isnt far).
The admin building also has a side door that is locked and can be unlocked from ...im not telling...:P ( youll find it )
Either way you can access the admin building from inside the prison but for easier access inside/out unlock it so you dont have to jump off the roof to get out or have to go back to the main entrance.
Ive setup certain areas to be used for vending ( like the jail's store ) and the kitchens and there is plenty of room inside the day area as well.
The cell beds can be used for the settlement count by simply picking them up and placing them again.
The guard beds cannot be used and have to be scrapped if you want to use that area for beds BUT (serious but )..
If you replace them...use the same spots as they were before cause the navmesh doesnt cover the whole area.(they will still count but settlers wont go to them ).
The build area is the whole island up to half way across the bridges (couldnt go further cause there are named cells after that )
The dock area has a bigger area though (allmost all the way across to the other coast line.

Well when you see it you should be able to tell that it was a nightmare to setup especially the navmesh with over 50 doors and a lot of stairwells.
I all most gave up several times cause it was very complex and had A LOT of parts/pieces to deal with.
If you spot any flickering textures ....(turn the other way :P ) .
Most surfaces are usable for placing .
Any items you cant scrap use the console as usual but i would avoid walls etc cause some are double sided (2 walls facing each other that i had to do to get the same texture on both sides).
Also dont delete the doors that are attached to terminals.
