Would it be possible to make a compatibility patch for Bordraw's Consistent Power Armor Overhaul? I love the classic T-51 look, but I can't use the two mods at the same time without them conflicting.
Sure you can, install this afterwards and it will just overwrite, thats how I run it and it works perfectly, even the BoS paint jobs will use the green. (Unless thats the problem you have, personally I think its a improvement over the BoS paint being the boring metal color)
EDIT: So after running into the problem myself (the whole reason I was here was to reinstall/update old mods) I remembered I was totally wrong, I made it work by deleting files.
On the off chance you check this year old thread, or someone else has a similar problem, here is what I did to make this replacer work with Bordraws power armor (with the added bonus of BoS decals still working with this color scheme)
Go into \Fallout 4\Data\textures\actors\powerarmor after installing CPAO and delete: T51ArmMetal_n.dds. T51ArmMetal_s.dds t51body01_s.dds, T51BodyMetal_n.dds T51BodyMetal_s.dds t51helmet01_s.dds t51HelmetMetal_d.dds t51HelmetMetal_s.dds t51HelmetMetal_n.dds t51leg01_s.dds t51legmetal_n.dds, t51LegMetal_s.dds
now install classic T-51 and let it replace any conflicting files remaining, and it should work. This will potentially f*#@ up some of the textures for the "standard issue" paint in CPAO, but given that paint is there to preserve the paint job this mod explicitly replaces, oh well.
One tiny thing missing though (vanilla model lacks it also) is the red curved arrow on the helmet, shown here: http://img3.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20101227094258/fallout/images/b/bc/Flagnarmor.gif
Would love for that little detail to be added, if you're willing.
