When you say "all DLC," do you have an exact list so I can verify? I've seen some mods claim there's 15 official DLCs, but Steam only offers 9, 1 of which is the Creations store and another is just the first 7 repackaged. Throw in Bethesda-sponsored Creations and the list of official add-ons gets a lot fuzzier.
<p>Sorry To ask butt can you do version if its no already existing Wehere you can Dublicate As sample 1 aluminium gives 2 if you scrap it I know Im a cheater but i just like duplicating
Thank you so, SO MUCH!!! I was searching for ages a mod that could allow me to get the full refund when deconstructing something... Well, this is the perfect kind of mod for that!!! And being weightless made it even better!
A fantastic mod! This mod makes my exploration actually worth it and exciting. It would be better if you also add Weightless Components with this one though. Because the aluminium, lead, acid, adhesive still have weight
Thanks for the kind comment! I have some versions in the files section that should do the trick, but if you're using them already its likely a load order problem. Make sure you have either the "Weightless Vanilla" or "Weightless Ultimate" version, and ensure the esp is last in your load order, and if that doesn't work let me know and I'll see what I can do for you. Thanks again!
You're welcome. I will edit my post to make it much simpler. @). I tried weightless version but the components (adhesive, screw, wood, acid, steel, lead still have weight on them). @). Records for junk items and component items are separated in FO4edit. Meaning, making the junk weightless won't have the same effect for the components. @). I am using ammo crafting which uses Acid to make. Now whenever i see Abraxo Cleaner it's like heaven @). Hoping to get 4x or 6x junk to components in the future
Ah, I think I understand what you're saying now, and I feel kinda silly for not realising my mistake. I'll get right on it, and see if I can't make a version that makes everything weightless, junk AND components. Watch this space!
As for the 4x and 6x versions, as stated in the description i'm not really too interested in making them as it would stretch the believably of the already pretty unbelievable crafting system way too much (You can build a fence from like, 4 pencils), and more importantly i'm not sure of a simple way to do this other than change every single value in the game, like I already did to make this version of the mod to begin with. Its not difficult to do, just very time consuming
Alright, new versions of the mod have been uploaded, "Weightless PLUS Vanilla" and "Weightless PLUS Ultimate", each functioning like their previous versions but with the added perk of weightless components! Hopefully this is what you were looking for, give either of them a try and let me know if they work alright for you. Thanks again for the kind comments, hope you have a nice day!
Thank you for this, component records are inside the file and is working as intended. Yeah i read your description but didn't look at the FAQS section lol. Cheers Scarlynx
At a guess, i'd say so, yes. I *think* there may be a way for me to make a patch using a script in FO4Edit but I have no experience with the program's scripts. I can take a look for you though
Funny you should say this, a weightless version WAS on my mind at one point given I use a weightless junk mod when playing on normal difficulties. I could certainly do it, but i'll need a little time to load the mod up and edit each of the items. Give me a day or so and I'll drop another comment here for you when its done
Ugh! Funny how life finds a way to get in the way whenever you decide you're going to do something, huh? I'm working on a weightless "ultimate" version as I type this, should be up in a few hours, followed shortly by a non-DLC variant. Really sorry for the wait!
... and I feel like a moron for sitting here for hours in the CK thinking "there must be an easy way to do this" only to realise I can make any variant of this mod in FO4Edit in under 10 minutes. Weightless Ultimate version should be uploaded now. Again, sorry for the wait!
Hey, been busy with other stuff IRL and kinda forgot to come back to this little project, but if you give me a couple days I can definitely whip up a vanilla game version for you
Turns out the process was much simpler than I thought, so I've uploaded a vanilla version in the optional files. Give it a whirl, I haven't tested it myself but given the nature of the mod and the changes I've made to my original, I see no reason there should be any issues. Let me know if there is and i'll get it fixed up for you! Enjoy!
So if I'm correct in my assumption this mod would effectively alleviate the insane resource requirements needed for crafting most of the workshop items? If that's the case then I might have to download and give it a try.
