Power Armor Display Stations

This was a mod requested by Stroheim on the Facepunch forums.

Essentially, the request was to make the Power Armor Displays from Contraptions Workshop work as regular Power Armor Stations. I decided to look into making it, and it turned out it wasn't too hard to do, and this is the result of that. These work pretty similarly to the Power Armor Displays, so all four color versions are available, they all snap together (to both these and the regular Power Armor Displays), they all light up when powered, but they also have the ability to modify power armor.

There are two versions of this mod. One of them adds the new Power Armor Display Stations to the Power Armor Display category (with the regular Power Armor Displays), and the other adds them to the Crafting category (with the Power Armor Stations). While there's no harm in using both plugins together, there's no benefit to having both, so just use the one that you want.

Installation Instructions (Manual):
  1. Extract the files from the download, and take the ESP from the folder, and put it in the Fallout 4 Data folder (\Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout 4\Data).
  2. Go to the Fallout 4 config folder (Users\Username\Documents\My Games\Fallout4), open the Fallout4Prefs.ini in Notepad (or similar) and make sure that bEnableFileSelection=1 is in the [Launcher] section.
  3. In the same folder, open Fallout4Custom.ini, and add the following lines:
  4. [Archive]
    bInvalidateOlderFiles=1
    sResourceDataDirsFinal=
  5. Make sure that both files are saved, and then enable the ESP through the plugin tab in NMM, or in the plugins.txt file.
If the last two instructions aren't clear, I would recommend checking out Gopher's FALLOUT 4: Enabling Modding for PC video.

Installation Instructions (NMM):
  1. Simply download the main file through NMM, and install the mod, following the installer to choose the options you're going to use.
  4. [Archive]
    bInvalidateOlderFiles=1
    sResourceDataDirsFinal=
  5. Make sure that both files are saved, and then activate the mod in NMM.
  6. Now enable the ESP(s) through the plugins tab.
For help with this, check out Gopher's FALLOUT 4: Installing mods using Nexus Mod Manager video.

Update Instructions (Manual):
  1. Deselect the ESP in NMM, or delete it from the plugins.txt file.
  2. Go to the Fallout 4 Data folder, and remove the old ESP.
  3. Follow the rest of the installation instructions from above, skipping steps 2 and 3.

Update Instructions (NMM):
  1. Deselect the ESP in NMM.
  2. Uninstall and delete the old version of the mod.
  3. Follow the rest of the installation instructions from above, skipping steps 2 and 3.
