    Q. Will you provide this mod without abc feature?
    No.

    Q. Is this compatible with abc mod?
    Yes, unless specified in Compatibility section.

    Q. Why didnt i get any holotape?
    Use console commands "stopquest tpBCAIQuest" followed by "startquest tpBCAIQuest". You will need to close the console for each command to take effect. If you still dont get the holotape then you have some mod conflict which caused this mod to not start correctly. Don't spawn holotape directly into your inventory.

    Q. Is xyz companion supported?
    Yes, all companions are supported. For custom companions, you will need to recruit them, then register them via companion configuration - custom - register in holotape.

    Q. Why xyz companion's name is not present in holotape?
    Either you never met them or they are dead. If they are following and their name doesn't come up then dismiss them and check, if not present then recruit and check. If their name doesn't appear then disable compatibility patches for Better Companions and try again.

    Q. Why abc companion is not using all the assigned weapons?
    Game cannot distinguish between same type of weapons so do not assign laser type guns everywhere or plasma type guns everywhere. Mix match them.

    Q. Why my companions are not switching to assigned weapons?
    Make sure you load this mod at the very end of your load order. Make sure they have at least one ammo for their guns. If they still doesn't switch then reset the mod via going into Maintenance menu.

    Q. My custom companions received multiple ids, help?
    Just destroy the ids and re-register your custom companions.

    Q. Why Custom Companion 1 slot is getting overwritten when registering a different companion?
    All companions needs to be following you at the same time in order for them to get registered. This is accomplished by multi follower mods.

    Unable to display companions on the list when viewing settings. Reinstalled, and that's fixed. However, I can't change aggressiveness in the newest build. Has anyone encounter this problem before? if so, how did you fix it? I've not installed any mods that alter companions' combat AI other than pure cosmetics mods.

    I love this mod. Been using this for a long time now. However with the new update, companions are not showing up in the tabs. Tried all the provided remedies nothing worked except reverting back to the older version before the latest which worked.

      I'm having similar issues as well. I know it worked fine before the update, after though, nothing is showing up in the Companion list. This is also on a fresh install.

    Should this Mod be loaded before or after Amazing Follower Tweaks?

      If I install Aft after starting this Mod will AFT ask to overwrite files on install?
      Aft does so much and I'm really only interested in the Multi- follower part and the outfit setting functions.
      I like this mods approach to specific improvements/perk for specific followers.
      Seems there is a fine line between improving follower function and making them overpowered.

    Why reduce custom slots companions to 5? Project Valkyrie has more then that all by itself. Add Heather, Ellen, Bloodrose, Ash, Dana, etc etc etc...

    I don't normally run around with more then 2 or 3 companions but once in awhile I like to take an army with me just for the chaos.

      I also agree and was wondering the same thing. Thank you for the hard work and continued support techprince. I would love to have the ability to manually decide the companion limit, instead of a hard limit imposed by the mod. Is this at all possible or a feature you have investigated? Thank you!

      Managing more than 5 companions is unnecessary and cumbersome. And i haven't deleted the old version so you can keep your old version with 15 slots.

    Sorry if this is a dense question:

    When it comes to the specializations, when it has Pistols listed (for example) does that mean both ballistic and energy pistols? Or just ballistic?

    I m not getting Longfellow's affinity perk of +20% xp bonus.I still have the +25% vs water creatures damage vanilla bonus.This mod is almost at the very bottom of my load order (the only mod below is survival options).Tried reinstalling it, didn't help.Dunno what's causing problem.

      If you have received dlc perks after installing this mod, reset the mod.

      If by reseting you mean - Use console commands "stopquest tpBCAIQuest" followed by "startquest tpBCAIQuest". I did that too, same result.

    This has been a very useful addition to the game! Excellent work.

    Question: which melee weapons are coded as 2H for the companion specialization perks? Baseball bats and sledgehammers/super sledges are obvious, but there are some swords and the like where it's hard to tell at a glance (and the information is not up on the wiki, either).

    My companions still teleport to me at times even though teleport is disabled, anything I'm possibly doing wrong or a mod/load order conflict? Anyone else run into this? Or maybe I'm misunderstanding how it's supposed to work?

      Vanilla means game already has a teleport feature by default. Mod doesn't modify it. Mod has its own teleport feature which can be disabled.

      Oooooh gotcha, I misunderstood, thanks for the clarification. Just by chance - do you know if it's possible to disable the vanilla teleport?

    I've always used this mod with AFT in my load order and it works fine. That having been said, if this mod had the ability to set regular and in combat outfits like AFT, I would have gotten rid of AFT a long time ago. It's the only reason I still use that mod as it's the only one I know of that has that feature.

      which load order are you using? AFT above or below Better companions?
