About this mod

Adds a new generator to workshop.

Permissions and credits
Allows the player to construct a new generator for settlements. This is one of those things you see at the top of "municipal plutonium wells," used to power neighborhoods before the war. Includes the rain shield.

I imagine this is some kind of futuristic Radioisotope thermoelectric generator. In that way it is self-contained and would not require refuelling for a long time.

It provides 100 power units when turned on. You can find it in the caterogy Resource/Power/Generators. It is not added by script. I use various mods which change the workshop menu, this does not seem to cause problems, but YMMV. Wires connect to the spindle at the front central axis of the generator.

Plays a quiet looping sound regardless of its ON/OFF state. I couldn't figure out the .nif controller states, and this is the next best thing.

It is difficult to position due to its size, I highly reccomend "Place Anywhere" unless you have large reserves of patience for fiddling with this item.

Future ideas
Replace the 3 basic generators with a more believable version. I'm trying out different meshes involving the engine block you can see lying around. Using a car engine to spin a turbine makes more sense than the vanilla junk generators.
