Because cats really aren't the biggest enemy of the Institute.

In vanilla FO4, most Institute Synths are set to attack both neutral and enemy entities, which leads to amusing but sad moments where Synths can be found slaughtering cats, of all things. You'd think that maybe all cats were sleeper agents for the Railroad or something.

But not anymore - this plugin tweaks the aggression values in pretty much every base game Synth (If I missed one, please PM me so I can fix it post-haste.) down from "Batfuck-Insane-Kill-Everything-That-Moves" (Very Aggressive) to a more pragmatic and PR-friendly "Kill-Anything-That-Is-An-Actual-Threat-But-Leave-Everything-Else-Alone" (Aggressive).

But they'll still try to kill you. I suppose in this respect, they actually have a lot in common with cats.

Note: Unfortunately Aggression is a hard-coded Actor Value, so it can't be edited at run-time. As such, this mod will probably interact weirdly with anything that edits the base game synths. It should be fine with a merged patch, but I make no promises.
