About this mod

In between settlements Graygarden and Oberland Station lies a track bridge. In a bout of infinite ignorance, this bridge's function was impeded by game design. This mod is the ultimate amenity you've been waiting for. (YOU SHALL PASS!)

Prologue

- "Not all that long ago there was a bridge... Unfortunately for those fond of bridges, or perhaps those who just prefer bridges to irradiated rivers, this bridge was cursed. An ancient coincidence birthed a physical impediment to its use, and plagued the souls of all who braved the wastes. For on that very bridge lay the dormant Traincar steadfast, rusted to its track- static. But amidst the inescapable hopelessness arrived a small band of humble heroes. When they saw the travesty that stood before them, an affront to their sense of logic and reason, they began to devise a solution. Though together they were exceptionally critical and cunning, they remained stumped for days unable to overcome the challenge. Ideally, they thought, 'Explosives could do the trick.' But to do so would negate the purpose of their efforts; the bridge was not to be compromised. Their collective might was no match for the two hundred year old machine, as stubborn to be moved as it was to be destroyed. They continued to ponder. Then it hit one of them, 'The solution has been all around us!' she opened, breaking the silence. To what she referred were the beasts of the wastes, mutated to great extents and strength. They nodded together, the path to success was now clear. Through several months of tracking and hunting, the band finally managed to capture a mighty Deathclaw alive! Many weeks of failed taming and crippling injuries later, they found a device that would dull the temperament of the creature. Finally, just a few weeks later, the band managed to train the male Deathclaw to pull large objects with a makeshift rein, and even gave him a name: Arthur. Together the band and their newfound companion set off to the bridge, filled with the fervor of being so close to seeing so much hard work through to the end. They hastily fastened the rein to the Traincar, and then to Arthur. Everyone stood back, fidgeting and rubbing their hands together, smiling, unable to contain their delighted anticipation. A few moments passed, nobody said a word, then one of the heroes exclaimed, "Heeya!" Arthur sprang forward, the rein snapping straight with a loud crack, and the mighty beast's momentum coming to an abrupt halt. Arthur's muscles became fiercely defined, his veins bulging as he exuded an ungodly amount of force. For a heart-sunken moment it seemed as though the Traincar would not budge, not even for the hulking mutated chameleon. But suddenly the wheels underneath let out a shrieking squeal as they scraped against the rusted tracks. Arthur took a step forward, then another. His pace became fluid, momentum now with him once more, he pressed on and on until the opening to the bridge became clear at last! He had done it, the passage was freed of its shackles to aid travelers once more safely over the glowing river. The band cheered in absolute joy as Arthur, fueled by his achievement, squatted and gripped his nemesis by the underside, lifted, and flipped it off the tracks and down the side of the hill. The deed was done. They could hardly believe it was over. After sitting around for a little while longer enjoying lazy, refreshing sips of Nuka-cola under the setting Sun's crimson sky, and sharing smiles and laughter while reminiscing in their experience, the humble heroes, and their new lifelong friend, Arthur, set off together into the wastes, never heard of again to this very day."

Function

Tired of your provisioners swimming through a river when there's a perfectly good bridge? Tired of swimming through a river when there's a perfectly good bridge!? Tire no more with this simple and effective solution.

This mod
disables the train car and its two red crates on the southern end of the Oberland track bridge (-12, 1), and the bogie on the northern end (-12, 3), and contains a hand Navmeshed bridge that is prioritized for NPCs (*ahem* Provisioners).

It also adds a toppled train car off the side of the hill to compliment the little flavor story. The mod is very low impact, and should not conflict with any mods unless the cells (-12, 1) or (-12, 3) have been altered for whatever reason.
Just make sure to add this line to your ini file under [General]: "bUsePreCulledObjects=0" (No quotations.)

*Shout out to Nexus user sedatedgenius83 for sharing this tweak with me!

**Disclaimer: Tweak does remove at least some preculling, so performance changes are possible, but not yet observed nor expected.

Also, if you want that adorable little critter, the rabbit that was introduced in Far Harbor (plus chicken) that you might have seen in one of the pics, in your own Vanilla Commonwealth, download jet4571's "Commonwealth Chickens and Rabbits" mod: http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/14458/?
I personally feel like it's a must-have; it just adds so much character to the vanilla game, that rabbit was there completely spontaneously, I love it! :D
