I always liked the look of heavy raider chest, but was disappointed by the cloth and metal preventing character's head from seeing it. So I went to nexus and all I've found was No Canister(Female Heavy Raider Armor). May be I missed something, let me know if it's so. Thus, I decided to do something myself without messing with models since I haven't any skills in it.

What I did - is just cut out the pieces from texture that weren't needed, the alpha channel did the rest - as simple as it is.
I'm pretty sure no one needs this, but may be somebody would like it and could use it. Did it for myself, but felt wish to share.

Works both for male and female.
No bugs detected, just a single texture file. Install manually or with NMM.
