For some reason, the garbage textures look like this Also, occasionally a lower quality texture appears on top of it, and I have to restart the game to remove it But with other textures it's fine, only with this ones.
UPD: I found the problem with this. For some reason it conflicts with the texture packs from FlaconOil and HD Overhaul, which I also have installed. I'm not quite sure why this is happening, since the vivid mod doesn't seem to touch this texture specifically
I am having some issues with lod around Thicket Excavations. There are large low quality textures that sit above the higher quality ground textures and obscure the view. I was wondering if anyone else has had similar issues and if it could be related to this mod?
That's a bethesda issue. that area is just buggy. if you reload the area or quit the game it should fix it. (it did for me at least every time I have this bug)
So Window's Defender has detected that ver. 2.5 has a virus. It explains the following: "This program provides remote access to the computer it is installed." I downloaded it twice to make sure it wasn't a fluke but I got the same result.
I did not have this problem with previous versions but if you want the detailed description on why Window's Defender is blocking your mod, here it is the apparent reason why: \Downloads\Vivid Fallout - Landscapes - Best Choice-1769-2-5-1679617533.7z|https://supporter-files.nexus-cdn.com/1151/1769/Vivid%20Fallout%20-%20Landscapes%20-%20Best%20Choice-1769-2-5-1679617533.7z?md5=pOBgStcMvlLXXWYNNt31vQ&expires=1679817113&user_id=88480938&rip=107.2.206.47|pid:10892,ProcessStart:133242764121514389
Here's the name Microsoft gives this virus: Backdoor:Win32/Bladabindi!ml
Several people reported defender alarms, for most in the other hand it works flawless. I can't exactly figure out why... the archives do contain nothing else than bs2, esp or dds files, none of them can be harmfull Nexus virus scan itself shows nothing abnormal as well. Thanks for the details, with all your help I hope I can solve it for next update
Alright, so I did more digging overnight and apparently it is due to the new Window's Defender update; it is detecting false positives. Apparently it is also happening to a lot of more mods here on Nexus. So, it is not on your end.

I highly suggest to install my All in One instead or at least to use it together with my mountains:

Vivid Fallout - Rocks
How to activate textures:
Just use NMM or:
1.
Copy the archives "data" folder to the "data" folder in your game directory
2.
Locate C:\Users\MyName\documents\My Games\Fallout4\Fallout4.ini and add:
[Archive]
bInvalidateOlderFiles=1
Just keep the mod tracked if you want to stay up to date :)

Would it be possible for you to offer a BA2 version of this please?
Except 2k and 4k version. They are more demanding
Just change the load order to give the mod you prefer priority
