microphone too crisp, no radio tune, and just ugh.... like listening to a real video, doens't have the atmospheric voice or radio sound... basically to life like
I'm gonna be honest, I really don't care for the original parts of this mod, I would have much preferred to just have the songs and no intros or anything. Honestly, the voice actor is kind of cringy. Maybe if he didn't put on an accent that's very clearly not his own? It's very distracting and it breaks the immersion for me.
I just wanted to give kudos to the mod author for being honest enough to want to pay the "copyright holders" before adding songs. It may be true that the original song writers and their immediate families have been long dead (in some cases for more than half a century), but the corporations who managed to get ahold of the rights to music that hitherto had been in the public domain deserve every hard earned penny for doing so. Cynics might claim that nobody in said corporation has any tie to the music whatsoever; that they had nothing to do with its creation and are just leaches suckling off art that was intended to be freely available by this point--but to these people I say you don't understand how our great Capitalist system works. I would also discourage anyone from seeking alternate methods of attaining such music via torrents or other ill-gotten methods.
*and if you do find you have MP3's on your hard drive that you aren't sure of the ownership of: you need to research the chain of copyright ownership and sift through the various umbrella corporations which might be involved to find the relevant corporate party(ies) you need to pay royalties to (depending on your region the amount may vary). There are also many cases where multiple corporations will claim they own the same piece of music, in which case you just need to pay all of those corporations just to be safe. Get your checkbook out, and keep track of how many times you listened to each song so the amount is accurate. Some may claim this is an obtuse and time consuming process that gives even intellectual property lawyers a headache, but it is worth it because at the end of the day you can pat yourself on the back for being such an honest corporate citizen and responsible consumer.
Hi, im on xbox and im quicksaving/loading to check out the songs to see if everything is working properly before committing to leave this mod installed, but i noticed that there no new songs being played, just the fo 4 ones,is this normal/intentional? Or is it broken? Thx in advance.
I rly want the fo 3/nv music in there.
Edit: I think this is the old version page,i just noticed oasidiasdj sorry, doesnt really matter much tho since im talking ab console.
Yeah nice idea but Three Dog is literally GNR, might as well call it something else. And I'm from DC, we don't have the same accent as you which makes it a little less immersive lol
The point of the comment is the iconic Three Dog isn't on this station and without him it's false advertising to call this GNR (or even mention Three Dog's name, which may make some think he's on it and download it). If you'd ever played FO3 you'd know what FNV and FO4 are missing. Without Three Dog this isn't GNR, and should be called something else entirely. Other than that it seems cool.
Hopefully someone can help, trying to use the mod, but every radio mod I've tried is silent, even tried using only one mod at a time and also tried saving, disabling, loading, saving, and re enabling mod but nothing is working still. If anyone knows a better fix other than just waiting and hope it will work eventually I'd appreciate it :)
Hi! Thanks for trying out my mod, and I'm sorry to hear that you've not been able to get it to work. You can try the following: This video tells you how you can enable mods https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fgUbpIzdpGY
This basically tells you to modify the fallout4Prefs.ini file by adding in the [Launcher] section: bEnableFileSelection=1 And in the Fallout4Custom.ini: [Archive] bInvalidateOlderFiles=1 sResourceDataDirsFinal=
You could also try downloading the mod from the integrated mod menu in Fallout 4 by subscribing to the mod or going to Bethesda.net and looking up the mod there.
