This mod adds four stand alone BOS outfits that have been cut and modified into shorts for those knights on the field that want a little more mobility. These uniforms are slightly lighter than their vanilla counterparts, and add a bonus to agility. You can buy these from Teagan aboard the Prydwen. It comes in Knight (orange), Soldier (green), Officer (black) and Lancer (orange with a jacket).
I also uploaded my own Knight uniform texture replacer. I made it to look more like the other two BOS uniforms instead of that ugly orange and tan thing. Check the images to see if you like it.
- I'm going to try to figure out how to make them available for upgrades, but this feature is new to me, so I haven't figured that part out yet.
- Since these outfits rely on alpha properties to work, and therefore have to use their own textures, they will not change with any mods that replace the BOS uniform textures, and trying to make compatibility patches for all of them would be nearly impossible. If you want these outfits to have custom textures, you can easily do that by opening both the textures you want to use and the textures that come with the mod, location in the knightunderarmor folder in your armor texture files, and copy and paste your texture over mine in your preferred photo editing program.
- The textures on the legs will look odd If you're using a skin texture that's not compatible with Vanilla or CBBE skin textures.
- I've kept clipping to a minimum but the outfits may clip a bit in the arms and thighs when performing certain animations. Not much I can do about that yet. Calientes Outfit Studio can only do so much. Only other thing I have is blender, and blender doesn't seem to like Skyrim or Fallout 4 models very much.
1.3: BodySlide is now available for the CBBE version. This update does not effect the vanilla version.
1.2: Apparently I don't know what I'm doing with containers at the moment, so now Teagan sells the outfits.
Thank you to Caliente for their beautiful meshes and incredibly useful tools.
