Alright, posting this here : I going though a bit of stuff at the moment, so I can't promise anything, but I'll try to look into the issues in this mod. For the meantime, I suggest using a mod like place everywhere to use this mod.
Edit : I can't test it, but I've uploaded a fix, it should snap better now
are you downloading via vortex or manual? if by vortex then just manual download it and then use the 'install from file' in vortex, I had similar problems with other mods and what i said worked
Thank You!! for making this mod! As a professional Obsessive-Compulsive, the placement of the flooring drove me crazy until this mod. I just wish I had more flooring options like this. If anyone were to make some 'carpet' squares like the rubber flooring that would be awesome and bring some variety. But I use 'Place Anywhere' and the flooring snaps perfectly. I am also liking how it fits (with PA) under the bordering walls (like in bunkers), etc. Very good job done here and I heartily endorse!
Well, at this point, this mod doesn't work properly. And you can even see on screenshots, why. Snap points are at the bottom of the mats, and when you place mat on a ground, they becomes unreachable. To fix this problem is very easy, all you need to do is to rise snap points a bit in Nifskope, to, like, 10, instead of 0, and it will snap perfectly. It does for me.
I have yet to find a vanilla floor you can lay these on and have them snap to the original layed piece. The ONLY thing I've witnessed them snap onto is after placing a wooden floor piece down the mat will snap to the edge (not on top or anything, like normal mats) and then you can actually string together a few pieces, but unfortunately serves no purpose in that state.
Im mystified how you got your covered like that in the provided picture. Uninstalled
Can't get them to snap together while on a floor tile, they snap together fine on the dirt or snapping with a floor tile but that doesn't help me in Vault 88...
Trying to figure out myself. When I place them down they don't snap but will grip one side if you pick the first one up that you place down, and they all move together like you're holding E key to pick up a group even though you don't. Thought they would just snap like walls and such.
I found they didn't snap in tell I placed it on one of the overseer's square wooden floor that has lines on the edges, when I placed a large vault mat within those lines and then placed three more mats beside it they mats eventually snapped after shifting them and the four mats raised a bit off the floor after snapping to each other!..
I used the Vault Floor-mats at the end of the rug menu, the ones at the beginning of the rug menu wouldn't snap, the homemaker mod adds a set of black Floor-mats too and I remembered they where at the beginning of the rug menu!..
The 1x1 doesn't have snap points? That's ok but the 2x2 & 4x4 don't snap together most of the time too. Does it have anything to do with cleaning/scrapping mods? I don't know if that's the case because sometimes they'll snap together but in most cases, they don't.
