OVERVIEW:
Ever since Fallout 3 I always like to keep the radio on constantly since I prefer it over the ambient themes. Galaxy News Radio had good songs and I enjoyed most of them while liking others with the exception of one... Butcher Pete. I found the song to be one of the most annoying songs I have ever listened to. I find it so very annoying, loud and obnoxious, I dunno what Roy Brown was on when he recorded it but it completely botched any nice intentions he had for that particular song.
When I played Fallout 4 and turned on Diamond City Radio for the first time, it was nice to find that the GNR songs had returned, except from Butcher Pete. To make things worse, it turns out that Roy made another Butcher Pete song. Since I like to keep the radio on constantly it bothers me when one of the songs come on since I have to keep it off for like 5 minutes. It's a shame too since I enjoy Roy's other songs on the in-game radio, Good Rockin' Tonight, Grandma Plays the Numbers and Mighty, Mighty Man.
DESCRIPTION:
If you've ever felt the same way I have about the songs, then surely you've sought to get rid of them somehow? This mod completely gets rid of both Butcher Pete songs from Diamond City Radio. However since the mod is in it's infancy stages and I don't know exactly how to edit dialogue entirely, Travis, the DCR DJ, will still announce them as if they were going to come on. But it's nothing to be bothered about. He'll announce them, they'll be a 5 or so second silence on the radio, and then the next song will play, whatever that might be.
