About this mod

Adds a standalone "Varmint Rifle" based off of the Varmint Rifle from Fallout: New Vegas

Permissions and credits
VARMINT RIFLE
Brings a .38 rifle based off the "Varmint Rifle" from New Vegas to the Commonwealth

The Varmint Rifle is weak when compared to the hunting rifle but don't let that fool you, she still packs a punch to help take down any "Varmint" you may find yourself facing off against.

OPTIONAL VERSION AVAILABLE FOR OWNERS OF FAR HARBOR
Downloading the far harbor version changes the hand made scopes into more appropriate scopes for the weapon.

Download and install ONE only.

Weapon modifications:

4 Barrels
2 Magazines
3 Sights
5 Receivers
2 Stocks

Obtaining the weapon:

The Varmint Rifle has been added to Raider weapon lists and can be obtained from raiders from the second you leave the vault.
(A massive thanks to MikeMoore for his dynamic leveled list script! Meaning the weapon is added to leveled lists and will not conflict with any other mod.)

Or if you're feeling a bit cheaty, one can be spawned with the console using:

player.additem XX001732

"XX" referencing the mod load ID of the mod.

If you don't know this you can find the ID for the weapon with:

help "Varmint Rifle" 4 weap
and then use "player.additem" with the appropriate ID.

NOTES:

* There may be bugs with the weapon. (There shouldn't be however, but weirder things have happened)

* There is a potential mod conflict with "Pipe Weapon Overhaul" causing a CTD in the opening sequence. This shouldn't be happening, but it has been reported.

* I would love to hear feedback on this in general!

The team at NifSkope, awesome work doing what Bethesda refuse to do for the rest of us!
MikeMoore - For a few of his tutorials and basically not making me want to rage when I saw how backwards it is to get models into the game ;) Plus his leveled list script.
The Fallout modding community in general, tons of information out there and plenty of inspiration too. Too many to list here!
Sorry if I missed out anyone in particular, if you feel you should be here just let me know :)
