Make Lever-Actions great again! No-more will it just be collecting dust in your settlement, now you will bring it to fell the raiders and ghouls of the Commonwealth with an iconic weapon!

Requirements
Permissions and credits
[Update 8/23/2016]
-Added FIVE new Armor Piercing receivers. The Standard one, the .44 Advanced and .45 Advanced ones, the .308 one and the Advanced one. They require slightly more resources as well as 2 ranks of "Penetrator" to craft.
[Update 8/14/2016]
-Added two new fully-functioning barrels, the Combat Barrel(very versatile) and the Long Combat Barrel(more powerful and has insane range).
-Added a Bayonet as an attachment.
-Tweaked some values for the Muzzle Brake and Compensator.
[Update 8/12/2016]
-fixed reloads on Marksman/Recoil Compensating stocks to not just add but to Multiply+add so it adds +15% reload speed as intended instead of just adding 0.15 flat to the reload speed.
-Added a fully functioning Recoil Compensating Stock that serves as a middle-ground in between the Short Stock and the Marksman Stock.
-Added a .308 conversion that is great for ranged attacks, having more range and accuracy along with a more readily available ammo type and less of a power reduction then the .44/45 ammunition.
-Added a Shotgun Receiver that has amazing damage output and increased fire rate and adds 5 projectiles. However it has much worse hip-fire/spread and piss poor recoil.
[Update 8/11/2016 a few hours latter]
-Oops last version I accidentally messed up -the .45 conversions did not appear in crafting menus and had no misc mod version. That has been resolved.
[Update 8/11/2016]
-Added .45 conversions for the Calibrated Powerful Receiver and Advanced Receiver that share the stats with the .44 conversions. They are simply there for convenience depending on which ammo is most readily abundant to the player.

As a fair warning: yes I know my grammar may be far from adequate, I am a Frenchman after all. So please tolerate my limited grasp of the English tongue, at least in grammatical rules and how to apply them.

The Lever action rifle has... numerous distinctions. Like every weapon in the game, it has one reload animation. However, this animation cripples it by forcing it to reload all five of its maximum rounds, regardless of how many are remaining in the tubular magazine. Speaking of which, another distinction; it loads all of its rounds at once in an internal magazine. This means that you do not have any magazines, no those are too "convenient" and "practical". Yet, this gun, most likely based on the Winchester 1894, has several benefiting traits. Firstly, it has a sick design and really fits into the Fallout universe. I can totally picture a hillbilly-redneck keeping one of these ready for the inevitable Great War and passing it down the inbred generations as a reminder of what once was. The textures are surprisingly good and even though there are texture modifications I still can go vanilla and have satisfaction using the weapon aesthetically. For example the short stock looks like it was a longer one that got cut and filed into a more lightweight form. It has a unique silencer as well that is quite good looking. The Marksman stock also happens to have *gasp* extra rounds? Next, it's unique variant in Old Reliable can actually go toe-to-toe with Overseer's Guardian at least in damage output, both having Two Shot Legendary effect and the Lever Action deals a fair amount more per shot. It's other unique variant, Lucky Eddy, can be very potent on a VATS luck build. And the final thing I will touch on, is the potential and versatility of the weapon.

And that is the problem. It has plenty of unique mod designs/realistic functions on a unique gun. Yet essentially it is just a variant of the Hunting Rifle. It does not have the annoying of throwing up the gun and flipping the bolt, true. But the hunting rifle has many benefits including potentially larger magazine(along with quick eject...) and range, more common ammunition in .308 or .50 if you swing that way. A part that they basically function in the same way.

Yet I saw potential. I saw a possibility of a gun that is versatile and can be used in many situations rather then sniping or VATS. So I looked at the weapon's mods and stats. And I did the following;
+10 Base Damage to the Lever-Action Rifle as well as an increase to the fire rate and reload speed(to compensate for the terrible animation). Made the weight on an unmodded weapon(default attachments) total up to 6.8lbs
-2 new Receivers; both .44 conversions, one for the Powerful Calibrated Receiver and one for the Advanced Receiver. .44PCR functions similarily to the vanilla one and is viable in vats. However it may deal less flat-out damage, but it has a lighter weight then the .45-70 counterpart yet reloads faster as well as a slightly faster fire rate, AND uses an ammo that is far more available outside of Far Harbor. Oh and it has less recoil too! The .44 Advanced Receiver has a much faster fire rate and reload speed and weighs less with a more manageable recoil. It deals less damage then the .45-70 counterpart of course. They require the same materials(may change this latter on) and perks.
-A new Muzzle Brake for the gun that uses the pipe gun's compensator. It looks quite nice and the meshes seem like they were born for eachother. It also works as it is larger then thecompensator of the Lever Action. It does the same range reduction as the vanilla compensator(the vanilla one now has no range reduction and requires only Rank 1 of Gun Nut, whilst the Muzzle Brake requires Rank 2 and more materials). It reduces recoil even further.
-Overhauls the stocks and barrels to support versatility. The short stock now does completely different things rather then be a downgraded Stock/Markmans Stock: Reduced weight. Improved recoil, bash and hip-fire accuracy. Meanwhile the Marksman's stock, due to having the extra rounds lined up on it, improves reload speed(as they are easier to access being stored on the rifle itself). The barrels are also more diverse; the short/short ported both improve hip-fire accuracy. On the flipside, the Long/Long Ported add +3 ammo capacity(it is a tubular magazine after all... The longer the tube the more bullets you can cram into it!). These changes allow one to do many different things with the gun. If you want to be a VATS murderer, you can equip the Marksman+Long/Long Ported improving reload speed and ammo capacity. If you want versatility in more situations, you can go with Short+Short/Short Ported to give you, when used in tandom, amazing hip fire prowess as well as a more manageable weight for loot hauls in survival and so forth.
-Increased range penalty with silencer.

My to-do list:
-When a readily available tutorial on how to add animations comes out, I plan on making it so that for each bullet you want to reload, you press "R" one time. Example you fired one shot of five. Press R once and you will reload one bullet. Fire six of eight and you press "R" as many times as you need to reload to a capacity to suit your needs, say if there are still four ghouls that need one shot each you'd press "R" 4 times to have enough ammo to FINISH THEM.
-[completed]Make the Recoil Compensating Stock in the files usable in crafting and obtainable ingame and make it better then the buffed Marksman's stock of course... I haz plans of making it a middle ground between sniping and hip-firing... MUAHAHA!!!
-Add an amazing animation, that when you draw the weapon you spin the Lever action like this: https://youtu.be/ILGZ3yDmcfI?t=1m47s to look like a total badass.
-Fix any bugs that may arise.
