Known Mods Using PBCF [ Pip-Boy Customisation Framework ] /!\ For Mod Author if you create a mod that Extend or is Compatible with PBCF tell me so i can add it to this list. /!\
Patch that Modify the Pip-Boy Paint Job from UCO Unified Clothing Overhaul to work with Pip-Boy Customisation Framework.

Can now craft a HoloBoy at the Chemistry Workbench
APPARENTLY this uses AWKCR as a master, yet AWKCR isn't listed as a requirement. I only figured this out after spending like half a day figuring out why my game was crashing on startup after removing AWKCR and the mods I knew used it. I decided to check the ESP, and what do you know AWKCR is a master file for this mod.
Because there a few more textures attachment point (Knobs, dial & buttons, knobs, labels, screen background, screen dust, interior leather, front casing and back casing and misc mod, which are detailled in the description page.
The included content are modified mesh to support those new attach point, and materials files and Textures for the labels and screen. Also it was originaly released before there were official support to modify the pip-boy texture at the workbench but as it still offered more than the official offering i had updated it to support that attach point.
I tested out the mod, It would have been infinitely easier if you just had 5 categories on the armor workbench; Material, Labels, Screen, Glows, Misc. modification.
Also, the need to craft the three pieces manually and "merge" them on the chemistry workbench. What is that for? Why not just build one Pip-Boy and leave it at that.
The only reason I've tested this mod is because you were able to modify the screen, where my mod couldn't do that. You've made a great mod, but it's way too complicated.
I added all the part on the pip-boy thatt were separate as their own so people could mix the front of one textures with another back, which can bring some interesting result. For the extra categories the extra one can be toggled off in the configuration Holotape.
I added all that i could add and thus people could taillor the experiences to their need.
as for the crafting , that a fair point, but if i recall correctly i splitted in 3 part for the following reason 1 - That when crafting easily see the needed component and not hidden because there are many. 2 - So could find part at merchant, as broken part of a pip-boy that they managed to get their hand on.
It's a framework, you're seriously complaining about extra features? If you can't take the time to read and figure it out then move along and stop complaining lol. This does nothing but add more functionality, it doesn't break anything, there's no reason to be upset just cause you don't understand how it works.
Hello! Just wanted to say this is a great mod. I have had it for a little while now and after a rough start (My fault) Finally got it working and its great!
No idea if the Author is still active here or not but if so maybe you can help. I would love to add a custom background to the pip boy. I have read... and reread... and read again the Instructions for doing this but I am unsure if its outdated or if I am missing a step somewhere that everyone just knows to do (literally never even tried doing this). Was wondering if there is another guide that I am missing or something? I am looking at the guide in the "Articles" section of the mod pack. Just looking at adding 1 or 2 background images to use on the pip boy.
I am googled my eyeballs out trying to figure out a way to add background and this seems to be one of the few ways to do it.
sorry I am not that active anymore, I haven't touched the since 2018. But I recall last time I worked on it I was making something a bit simpler to add custom texture.
I still have the files and can send it your way once i confirmed it working correctly and have instruction to go with it.
Would also like an instruction on adding my own customized pip-boy background, the one that is floating around just haven't worked. If PBCF has a file that could store player made customized background, i have not been smart enough to figure it out... please advise if there is a way
This is the best example I know of for a working PBCF texture pack that you can add to or copy for creating your own pack. You'll probably also want the Art Connoisseur System by the same author, it's a similar PBCF-like framework, but for your custom paintings. He also made a Sketchbook mod that covers the template and how-to for making your own paintings for ACS and a lore-friendly Pinups paintings pack of all the best artists from the period (matches the PipBoy collection).
Downloaded the Unequip pipboy patch, but it is missing the master: AutoUnequipPipboy.esp, however the mod doesn't come with that esp file, it only comes with AutoUnequipPipboy.esm.
There's no reason to download a patch for a mod you don't have, that patch is only required if you're using the mod Unequip PipBoy. If you're missing the master then you don't have that mod installed and don't need the patch. This mod only requires the main file to run, however you have to equip the new PipBoy found outside Vault 111, it doesn't work if you're still wearing the vanilla one.
Literally my only PipBoy mod (aside from using the Widow skin), this does everything I could want and more in a PB framework. The fact that it works in conjunction with the PB Flashlight (or the OG Aliens-style TNR Shoulder Lamp for anyone not familiar with modding their light source) makes it pure gold! This mod deserves way more endorsements, worked flawlessly through my entire 700ish-mod loadout.
Thanks for this mod Aether89, a mod like this was being cried out for even for the other Fallout games, just happy we got it here. Just customized my Pip-Boy up about five minutes ago and I absolutely love it, it's amazing. Good ol' Myrna selling me a full Pip-Boy to edit. Can't go wrong!

I wonder if this would work in VR or is there a VR version?
