Never did anything with the Settlement building previously, but I am in my new playthrough and I had forgotten just how bad Bethesda games are for lighting. I love Bethesda but their engine really sucks sometimes :)
This is a very welcome change. Admittedly I haven't tried it yet I'm just installing it now, so fingers crossed it is still working. But either way, thank you for the work and for sharing.
Had this mod for years for the regular build; works great! Out of curiosity, I did try this mod for the VR version and it does cause the stars at night to shake around like crazy, and causes random crashes when accessing workshop menus.
this mod is 8 years old and predates FO4 VR so I'm not really sure if I can be of any help, I'm sure there are more modern alternatives to this mod by now anyway
Uhmm Try moving to an interior space Though disabling my mod can not cause CTD's, so i have no idea really. Are you crashing before the game reaches the main menu, or crashing trying to load a save?
Looks good, I usually use Homemaker's lights as the vanilla ones are terrible. Does this effect the gas burning ones as well, like the streetlight, lantern, etc.? I really like those for the color they put off, but like you said, you have to place 10 to equal 1 regular light.
This only has an affect over the street lights added by Wasteland Workshop If you want to alter gas/candle light sources just open up the associated mod in FO4Edit and under the Light category, find the items you'd like to alter and increase the radius by two or three times (where 512 = 1) It's quick and easy, typing the description for this mod and uploading screenshots took longer than it did to make this mod

Yes, and a really easy peasy way to do this is to download "Automation Tools" in the skyrim section of the nexus, and use the "Replace" script, it allows you to put in a path, a search wildcard, and a value.
Example:
Path: DATA/Radius Search: * Replace with: 512
You can do an entire column of brightnesses that way, but that's only if you want ALL of the lights you pick with Shift-Click to have a radius of 512
One thing that would be really nice is if the script had a feature where you could use something like +20 in the replace entry so it would automatically add 20 to all the values.
