These goggles (or ring) cause enemies to glow red and and non-hostiles glow blue to distinguish friend from foe, as well as having the Chameleon effect to make you invisible when crouched (non-stealth version included).
This Life Detection differs from that which is available with the power armor Targeting HUD, in that friend and foe have a different color glow effect. This aids in determining whether a creature is hostile or not.
When the mod is activated, both stealth and non-stealth version of the goggles and rings are placed in the player inventory; in addition to non-active versions so you can hot-key the effect on or off while still retaining the appearance of wearing the item, or without having to equip/unequip in the normal manner.
Yes, there are other mods which provide the Chameleon effect, but most of them involve wearing specific armor and I wanted to have this effect available regardless of which armor a player is wearing. And yes, there are also other mods providing the Life Detection effect, but most/all of them cause all living beings to glow red, without distinction between friend/foe.
