More complex turret recipes requiring specific items and the weapons the turret shoots. No more slapping a few pieces of steel together and getting a fully functional turret out of it!

Did you ever wonder how the Sole Survivor is able to take a few pieces of steel, gears, and some elbow grease and put together a complex, fully-functional turret with friend/foe target acquisition and no ammo required?  

Not with this mod you won't!

This is my first mod and hopefully the first installment in a series of recipe tweaks.  

I've always thought the crafting recipes in Fallout 4 were way too simple and lenient, especially when we are spending hours finding virtually a hundred unique pieces of junk in the wasteland.  I had always wished that more crafting recipes required specific items which would logically be required to construct the recipe.  Turrets are a glaring example of this, as looting destroyed turrets after combat even tells us what sort of parts were in them, not to mention the gun its jury-rigged with in the first place!  I felt it was way too easy with the vanilla recipes to spam rocket turrets after only a little bit of scavenging. This mod goes hand in hand with my Realistic Construction Recipes - Generators , Realistic Construction Recipes - Workbenches , and Realistic Construction Recipes - Lighting mods, because making a fusion-powered, missile-protected settlement should require more than a trip to your local Super Duper Mart.

What It Does:
This mod updates the turret crafting recipes to include a few of those pieces you are constantly looting from blown out enemy turrets, as well as the relevant ammo and weapon the turret would require to function.  

*Update 1.1.0* I've added the weapons the turrets shoot to their recipe.  This is what I originally intended for the mod.  The recipe is NOT dependent on weapon modifications (though you may wish to pull any weapon mods off of the gun, because they will be consumed). 
Note: Due to the high (25ish) leveled list of 5.56 Assault Rifles, I decided to make the Machine Gun Turrets require pipe weapons so they could reasonably be constructed before level 25, so settlements aren't completely defenseless.

You will also naturally get some of these components back when scrapping the turrets, not just a handful of steel like before.  The recipe forms themselves do not seem to allow you to control what the scrapping rewards are, but if I can find out how I'd like to tweak this too.

Compatibility:
This mod should be compatible with any other mod so long as they do not edit the crafting recipe for the 6 offensive turrets (I did not edit the Spotlight, not yet anyway). 

Here are the new recipes for the turrets.  You may want to make a note of these because of the recipe scroll bug (see "Known Bugs").  The recipes are in the ReadMe as well.

Known Bugs:
The crafting window is only able to show a certain number of items before scrolling is required, and to my knowledge, even though a scroll arrow appears there is at present no way to actually SCROLL the recipe window.  There is nothing I can do about this, so I have provided the crafting recipes above until either Bethesda fix the bug or a UI mod comes along that does so.
