Idea for bountiful boards: Hugh Long the competitive bounty hunter
Hugh Long would be an NPC with a timer that auto completes bounties you have forgotten to do. Hugh Long only being active once you've taken a quest from the bounty board one at a time. https://steamuserimages-a.akamaihd.net/ugc/1818896268360518509/53477DB9B2A8E8BB5B0A16F7672907F3F73A10EC/?imw=5000&imh=5000&ima=fit&impolicy=Letterbox&imcolor=%23000000&letterbox=false
Ran into a common Vanilla bug where the Diamond City Bounty quest stop spawning permantly and after adding your mod they start spawning again with the new added quests from the mod. However while the vanilla quests works fine the new quests are not added or starting after i pick up the Bounty Note and they 24h timer doesn't seem to work either since i can run in and out Diamond City to make the note respawn.
Wondering is there is a way to fix this. Using Modmanger 2 with very few mods that don't conflict (5 mods in total).
I took a quest that directed to Dartmouth Professional Building but when I got there I came across an elevator out of service obstructed by a pile of junk. As the quest marker indicated something behind the entrance door, I used the code "TCL" and came across a large new space that was inaccessible by conventional means. Does anyone know if this is a MOD thing?
I'd love a craftable bulletin board/bounty board for settlements. Maybe it needs a Sheriff or Secretary assigned to it to keep it up to date and it generates a small amount of defense and happiness.
It would be cool if you could save/rescue some of the bounty subjects at your own discretion- Pacifying and/or recruiting Settlers, Gen 3's, (potential) farm animals and (potential) pets. Hacking and/or pacifying Automatron's, Gen 1's and 2's to work in your settlements. And post story Institute/BOS refugees.
Also things like delivery requests and fetch quests would mean it has work for anyone, not just mercenaries.
I don't know if it would cause incompatibilities but it would be cool if places other than DC Market and Dugout Inn had it, like The Third Rail, Hotel Rexford, Beacon Hill's Inn etc
My first bounty was 'Help a neighbor out,' killing Children of the Atom at Jailbert Brothers Disposal. I had never been there before, which may be part of the problem. The Children were all dead before I got there (as usual, in vanilla), which was a bit anticlimactic, but I killed the molerats, and got a "quest completed" message. So, something's a bit screwy. But the idea is great!
You should have a marker on a random mailbox in diamond city with your reward.
It looks like something didn't get uploaded/corrected, as it shouldn't have given you that quest with the molerats. It was a bug that I thought I squashed in the upload for 0.8.2 but apparently I missed something.
I'll make this a bug and let you know what I find out. Thanks for trying it out and I hope you check back in later to see some of the things I have planned!
I have this problem too, my game has never completes any of bounty quests prior installed this mod, and I installed on late May, so it's 0.8.2 for sure, I got 2 of vanilla version and 2 of mod version, all are fine, except "killing Children of the Atom at Jailbert Brothers Disposal" one, go to there and found lot of molerats spawned, no CotAs ever appears, and killed those molerats completes the quest...
Don't know if you ever want to fix your mod or not... :(
Will there be a version without reward or with easier reward-collection? I find the reward-collection tedious, exp (and loot) would be enough for me, just like vanilla quest (if it worked).

1. COA quest leads you to kill molerats; and
2. No reward after finishing bounty.
The 1st is more of a nuisance, the 2nd however prevents you from ever completing the quest.
Console Command: "completequest <questid>" can remove the quest from your log.

This could be used to prevent softlocks.

PS How do you get the rewards?
