About this mod

The NukaMon craze that's sweeping the nation! Capture your friends and foes from the Wasteland to make friends in convenient portable form.

Permissions and credits

Lucky for you, the Nuka Cola Corporation has wisely diversified into toy development.

The Wind-Up!

"Hey Kids!

It's the NukaMon craze that's sweeping the nation! Capture your friends and foes from the Wasteland to make friends in convenient portable form.

Your friend,

P. Utchoo
VP of Amusements, NukaCola Corp.

PS: NukaCola Promotional Songbook may be included.

"I want to cap-ture every pest
And do it just because...
To quench them is my steal-zest!
To detain them is the draw."

What this mod does

You can now craft NukaMon Balls in the Grenades section of your Chemistry Lab workbench. Neato!
Each 10-pack of NukaMon balls requires some plastic and some NukaCola.

These NukaMon balls are not specially numbered, so one ball is just as good as any other.

(* Recipe subject to change. Terms and conditions apply.)

Throw the NukaMon ball at a person or critter in the Wasteland and if your aim is good, you might (read: will) catch one of your very own NukaMon!
Throw the filled NukaMon ball containing your new friend into the Wastes, and watch as they re-emerge as usual.
However, they should be your friend for a little while. Friends typically don't hurt friends unless provoked.

Installation

No special instructions: archive contains 1 ESP and 2 BA2s.

Un-installation

CAREFUL:
This should kind of go without saying, but be sure to release all of your NukaMon prior to disabling the mod. Otherwise you might lose your friends for good!

Known Issues

Through dark magic, you can currently see the name of your NukaMon in your inventory and refer to them separately, without a dependency on the Script Extender (why Bethesda, can you not just read a reference's name natively!?). This kludgey goodness is fun and useful to horse around with, but it unfortunately does not persist across saves, so your NukaMon will stack in inventory when reloading a save.
