This mod Adds short weapon racks that can display all: Small and Medium weapons
And the ability to move displayed weapons more to the left and to the right
and finally it adds a heavy weapon rack that can display heavy weapons on a wall
Works just like vanilla weapon racks

Now compatible with Nuka World
be sure only to pick one of the main files

Updating to Nuka world?
Uninstall and d
elete the old mod and install the Nuka world one instead, simple and easy

The Contraptions Workshop DLC is needed for this mod.
Modded Weapons should work fine with these new racks

Why you ask ? because the vanilla weapon racks are totally unimmersive! why waste all that space making weapon racks that are simply too big for the weapon anyway?
So now with this mod you can use all your weapons on the new Extended Weapon Racks made by yours truly.

The new weapon racks can be found under the weapon racks tab

Got a weapon that does not fit the rack or pokes out of one if the sides ?
Use one of the new weapon racks added with this mod.
It will put the weapon more to the Right or to the Left depending on what you need
So you can be totally immersed in your home

This does edit the old vanilla Heavy Weapon Stand in a way!
So remove any heavy weapon stands in your game before using this mod
just to be safe. (Still Unconfirmed if still happens and needs testing)

the mod also adds new racks to your game but it should not conflict with anything

Install via NMM
Uninstall via NMM
Be sure to report any bugs you may encounter
But how does it work?
Well Timmy, Weapon racks works like this.
The weapon racks can only display weapons that have a WeaponType keyword on it
that means if you have a weapon that does not come with vanilla fallout 4 (aka a Modded weapon)
it needs a weapontype[???] keyword. but most modded weapon have that, and yet i see some that does not.
Here is a list of the keywords the weapon rack uses and a weapon must have one of.

small/medium

WeaponTypePistol

WeaponTypeRifle

WeaponTypeMelee1H

WeaponTypeMelee2H

WeaponTypeUnarmed

WeaponTypeFlareGun

Heavy

WeaponTypeBroadsider

WeaponTypeFatman

WeaponTypeFlamer

WeaponTypeGatlingLaser

WeaponTypeJunkJet

WeaponTypeMinigun

WeaponTypeMissileLauncher

WeaponTypeCryolater

i have made a tutorial on how to add keywords to modded weapons here:
