Useful mod, someone else did all the named Slog & Abernathy NPC's (including I think the cat & the cow) any chance you two could work together covering all the named NPCs & merchants?

Also, thinking on the Slog & Abernathy is there any way to turn Deidre & the Abernathy woman into T4 general goods venders?

There is a simple way to compile one's own list of NPCs to set as essential without using a Plugin.

If you create a .txt document with NotePad on your computer, call it whatever you like: such as EyeLoveSinSinNatiJerms. And from there, create a list of console commands for setessential (character's BaseID) 1 [to set the NPC as essential]  or setessential (BaseID) 0  [to remove essential status if one chooses]. Example below includes the commands for Anne Hargraves, Doc Anderson and then Smiling Larry:

      setessential 00036d6f 1
      setessential 0018af90 1
      setessential 0002f2a6 1

When finished, place the .txt document in the Fallout 4 execute folder: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout 4

And once in the game, open up the Console by hitting the tilde key ` (the one just below the escape button on the keyboard) and type:
      bat EyeLoveSinSinNatiJerms
(or whatever slightly-less witty title you choose)
And that will apply all of those setessential commands at once, which is easier than typing them. And I suggest keeping a separate document that Identifies each person being set essential and their BaseID so the player can remove the essential flag and demand their blood. Do it with a smile!
Mod author KevKiev offers a great list to get started here: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/28305  He deserves the kudos.
So you could name the .txt bat file after him, but which sounds better?

    Thanks for the mod.

Now, if only there was a better way to get the random ones other than "randomly".
(no, not by cheating, by some quest or something).

    thanks for sharing.

Just as an aside: Holt was never a recruitable T4 merchant. It was a mistake in the guide.

However, I downloaded this instantly. This is the kinda thing should be in an official patch, so thank you very much. Any chance you could extend it to include all unique settlers, such as Tina and Sheffield?

Yeah looking into that now, I thought Holt might have been a mistake, but fairly hard to check since they made the quests to recruit a pain in the butt to check. They literally didn't use any common naming or faction system for the traders in the ck.

Checked in the ck, Tina is already marked as essential (as a rule of thumb, I never downgrade the status). Sheffield on the otherhand is now marked as protected, will be updating in a minute.

My Vault tec Guy died at the Castle.

Can I respawn him? And if yes, is he "immortal" after?

Yeah, there are respawn commands with the console. As for his status, it should be protected. Meaning he can still die, but you would have to pull the trigger.
